Hiring Unruffled was the best decision we did during our wedding planning process. Kritzie and Emily are experts in their field. They run their business with dedication and class. You can tell how passionate the two of them are. They were both so easy to communicate with. Unruffled created a full timeline of the day, handled all our vendor communication a month prior to the wedding (we utilized their day of coordination services), and even provided suggestions like finding a decor wall for our dream limoncello seating chart. Their services put us at ease leading up to the wedding and were incredibly helpful the day of. Because of Kritzie and Emily, my husband and I were able to feel like an actual guest at our wedding. The two of them handled everything behind the scenes and made sure everything aligned with their timeline. We worried about absolutely nothing the day of! My husband and I got married on 6/15/2024. I handled majority of our wedding planning, but as an OCD bride, my biggest anxiety was not being able to be hands on for the day of our wedding. Everyone was telling me that as the bride I had to enjoy my wedding day, but all I could think about was “I need to make sure everything goes exactly the way I’ve been planning it for the last year and a half”. I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. One thing that we were really hoping for was getting a disco ball above our dance floor, but since we were outdoors, it wasn’t looking promising. McKenna was the one who made sure that we got our disco ball, and it was absolutely perfect! That’s just one example of the many ways McKenna ensured our dream wedding would become a reality. On the day of, McKenna and her team were so efficient and handled everything so that my husband and I could relax and focus on ourselves. We got to our venue and everything was already done and ready to start the day! From our very first interactions with Deliece from the Dhalia team, we knew we had picked a spectacular partner to help plan our summer wedding in the Catskills. In the run-up to our wedding, Deliece was incredibly helpful in every way. She provided candid advice when we asked for it, kept us on schedule, documented everything in detail, let us lead on the things we wanted to organize ourselves, and took the time to understand our vision for our wedding so she could help us prioritize and spend thoughtfully. Where Deliece knew of multiple vendors, she gave us honest advice about whom to hire; where she didn’t, she reached out to her colleagues and was able to get us informed opinions about whom to work with and why. WOW! I can not say enough on how appreciative I am of Bari and Antonia. A month before my wedding I realized I desperately needed Day of Coordinators. Bari and Antonia were so responsive and assuring. They took on my wedding with such grace. No request of mine was too much. They travelled all the way to Jersey City from Philly and were so accomodating. They spent time with all our vendors on the day of the wedding, helping set up with the florist and some of my DIY decor. They made sure my ceremony procession ran smoothly. They made sure all the little details were taken care of. The night of my wedding, the only thought I had was to have a good time, and thats because Bari and Antonia did the rest. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND on the day of the wedding... literally hauling extra chairs with her throughout the botanic gardens so we could get our photographs!! LOL! Everyone needs an events coordinator whose responsibility is to make sure you--and everyone at the center of the celebration--enjoy the event. Merry by Mia will be in your corner and take away all logistical stress.

We hired a day-of coordinator because although we wanted to own the process of planning the wedding, we did not want to be point persons for vendor questions, logistics, and issues on the day of the wedding. We chose Merry By Mia because we instantly felt like we were in good hands, were reassured by the fact that Mia herself had recently gotten married and knew firsthand what kind of stressors and wrinkles go into a wedding day, and because we were impressed with her podcast. We benefited greatly from working with Merry by Mia! We had a sounding board for questions throughout the planning process, making big undertakings (like finding and booking transportation for 120 people!) much much simpler. And of course, on the day of, we would not have rested nearly as easy if we hadn't known that Mia was there to represent our best interests when we couldn't be there ourselves. We also heavily relied on Mia to understand what we wanted/what was important to us and translate that to our other vendors, especially when we felt we weren't being listened to. This was invaluable to us. Overall, we were incredibly satisfied! From big planning moments down to helping me into my reception dress, the day would not have gone nearly as smoothly without Mia. I would absolutely recommend working with Merry because from my experience, Mia was reliable, understanding, and excited! It means a lot when vendors who live and breathe weddings still have the ability to get as excited over the details as you do. I would say to absolutely prioritize this expense in your budget. For me, I know that if I had allocated that money to any other line item I wouldn't have been able to fully enjoy it because I would be dealing with so much unnecessary stress and wrangling without a point person. To say that Faye Fern Creative exceeded all our wildest dreams is to put it lightly. Our wedding was a work of art thanks to Natalie Faye Fern, who is not only a creative mastermind but also an extraordinary person: intelligent, resourceful, kind, and a joy to be around. She works harder than anyone and goes above and beyond to make your vision come alive. Yet on our wedding weekend, she and her whole team made everything look totally effortless!! They were the picture of calm and brought the most warm and positive energy that our guests just fed off. Everything was so, so well coordinated and we felt we could just trust the Faye Fern team to do their job. They also gave us invaluable advice before the wedding which we followed and it helped to keep us very organized on our end. The decor took our breath away. We aren't design experts and just had a general idea of what we liked. Also owing to our busy schedules which left us little time to participate in the design process, we let Natalie run freely with the concepts she came up with and would tell any other couple to do the same! You won't regret it! I might be something of a designer's nightmare: a bride who doesn't always know what she wants and doesn't have time to plan anything but has high standards about whatever it is. I secretly feared that my wedding would never live up to what I hoped but when we stepped into our ceremony and reception, our jaws were on the floor the whole time. We could not believe this was our wedding because ohhhh my godd. It's like Natalie knew exactly what we wanted without us even knowing it ourselves. The fact that she designed and planned this for us while based in a different city the whole time makes it all the more impressive to me. Last of all, I want to add how grateful I am that Natalie always made sure that both my husband and I felt equally included in decisions. Many vendors treat the bride as if she is the only one whose opinion matters and while maybe this is traditional in the industry, I could tell that he felt left out sometimes. So I want to thank Natalie for always treating it like it was OUR wedding and not just mine because it meant a lot to my husband.

I cannot say enough incredible things about Erin. Above and beyond does not begin to cover it! Look no further for any of your wedding planning needs. We hired Erin for our month of coordinator almost 2 years in advance. From the beginning, she was very responsive, informative, kind, and helpful. I am pretty organized, and she consistently thought of questions I didn't! I was very impressed with her demeanor with myself and the rest of our vendors. Our venue required a pre-approved coordinator, and Erin took the steps to contact them to make sure she would work out, and we are so glad she did! She did everything she said she would and then some. She reached out to all of our vendors, worked with us on our timeline (many times!), attended our rehearsal, and never got frustrated even when we had a lot going on. Erin felt more like a friend than a coordinator, and we are so happy we got to spend our special day with her.
