Based in Athens, OH and willing to travel within the Southeast Ohio/Columbus area, I have worked with couples located in several states, including those that are not located in the same state or even time zone of where their wedding will be located. Whether you are hosting a religious wedding, civil ceremony, or a home wedding, I have experience with all.

Someone to support you in the decision making, plan out the logistics of your wedding, and guide you in the overall design, look, and feel? If this sounds like what you are looking for, the Full Service package is likely what you would want to book! This service is full service planning, design, and coordination.

This package is a good option for the couple that wants to create the design, look, and feel for their wedding, but wants a professional to assist in the planning and coordination process.

Month-of Coordination, essentially event management, will support you beginning six weeks prior to your wedding day and manage everything day-of.

    Events by Sydney was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the beginning, her communication was excellent - Sydney was personable, responsive, and always available to answer any questions we had. On the day of the wedding, Sydney's preparation and attention to detail were outstanding. She made sure I had my morning coffee before getting my makeup done, and she had a thoughtfully curated box filled with all the wedding day essentials. Sydney’s work was invaluable in ensuring our special day went off without a hitch.     We truly don’t have enough words to express how grateful we are for Sydney. From day one, she was organized, responsive, and somehow always two steps ahead. Every detail of our wedding, from the timeline to the tiny personal touches was handled with care and excellence. She knew we struggled with our last planner and was overly sensitive to the situation. Something I appreciated so much. The day-of execution was flawless, and we actually got to relax knowing everything was under control. Sydney handled issues and made decisions quickly but with care. She was always 2 steps ahead of us and made sure we had a relaxing day. Our day would not have been what it was without her. She handled all of our vendor communications, each vendor telling us what a joy it was to have been able to work with her. She went above and beyond by being at our venue several days early to answer any questions or help setup or make us feel calm in stressful situation. There wasn’t a detail left behind.
