Above and Beyond,Our Wedding Day Angel!
We cannot put into words how thankful we are for our day-of-wedding coordinator, Caroline. From the moment she started, she took complete command of the day with grace, professionalism, and a calming presence that allowed us to actually enjoy our wedding reception without stress. She went above and beyond in every possible way – from handling last-minute delays with vendors, to keeping the entire timeline on track and flexible as things changed, to managing every tiny detail we hadn’t even thought of such as keeping me the bride hydrated lol. She was even kind enough to carry decor in her own car to drop it off at my house as our own cars were full. What impressed us most was her ability to anticipate needs before we even realized them. She was two steps ahead at every turn, always checking in with kindness but never intruding. Her professionalism was matched only by her genuine warmth – we felt like we had a friend by our side who truly cared about making our day perfect. Our parents couldn’t stop raving about how hardworking Caroline was! If you are planning your wedding or event, stop searching for a planner and hire Caroline Calleja at Protea Event Planners. You will be glad you did. I would even suggest that it be the first step in your entire process. If I did this all over again, she would be the first person I contact or research among all vendors and venues. Reach out to her now. The process of wedding planning, or day of coordination can be daunting when you’re first starting out so save yourself the struggle and utilize her expertise to accomplish your dream event. Caroline is the kind of person you hope to find when hiring a wedding or event planner. Her warm approach and thorough communication put us at an immediate sense of relief, especially when dealing with a sea of vendors who are often very transactional about your planning. Caroline was the opposite. She showed complete ownership during her role and helped guide us in ways that exceeded her initial proposal of services. This was her going beyond our expectation on her own to provide expert advice and coordination throughout our planning process. Regardless of the issue or question we had, Caroline was prompt to work through and provide a solution that emphasized her skilled approach to complex problem solving and time sensitive action. We had issues with our venue in the final days before our event which would have made any other planner feel scrambled and lost and yet Caroline fell right into her comfort zone as she coordinated and communicated across multiple vendors to execute a flawless result. Our day of coordination had yet to occur and we were already confident in her abilities. On the day of our ceremony, Caroline was able to communicate in person and electronically to all vendors participating with rapid accuracy. The event, with over 100 guests and 15 individuals from various vendors had seamless transitions. Among this is the coordination of catering, photo, video, floral, venue, bar service, and transportation which Caroline handled like a “Pro”. We were thoroughly impressed and left thankful that we were able to work with her. She was a major asset to our wedding day and will be for yours too.
