Hi! I am Clemence the face behind The Perfect Pair Wedding :) I am born & raised in France, in the city of love Paris. During college I got the chance to do a semester abroad in San Diego, and met this really special, handsome, American guy... You see it coming? YES! After 3 years of long distance relationship, I finally married the love of my life. A little bit about The Perfect Pair Wedding... it is a San Diego based Wedding planning company, we plan & design weddings all over Southern California to bring to life our Perfect Pair's dreams.

WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO? For the look of the groom's face when he sees his bride walking down the aisle. For the first dance, the parents dances, and the sweet touching toasts their relatives give (Yes, EVERYTIME, it tears me up). For the sparkle in my couples eyes, when seeing the final result after MONTHS of planning and dreaming about this moment. The happiness and the joy that emerges from my couples weddings, are my reason for working. All these precious moments are the reason I am a Wedding Planner, because I literally couldn’t and wouldn’t even dream of being anything else. I CANNOT wait to meet you & have you as my next Perfect Pair!

Description

For the busy couple who would like expert guidance from the start to finish.

For the couple that needs expert guidance with planning their wedding but would like to be more involved with the details of vendor communication and contracting. We will help with key components such as overall design direction, personalized vendor recommendations, budget guidance, and questions along the way.

For the couple that just need help with the design process. We source and manage the design vendors for you (rentals, florist, lighting, signage). Additional costs involved for vendor management on day of.

For the couple who has done all the wedding planning, but wants to be able to relax and enjoy every moment of their big day. Our assistance begins one to three months prior to the wedding date, and includes the creation of day-of itinerary and diagrams, as well as a site walkthrough to review the layout and all associated details.

    Clemence made everything about wedding planning fun and stress-free while still executing our vision which is no easy feat in this industry. As a bride who didn't have any idea about what type of dress or venue or anything, she walked me through the process, listened to what I liked and provided amazing options, resources, and tips to get me up to speed. Beyond just being a kind, fun person to chat with and an incredibly strategic mind to plan with, her recommendations for vendors are the best in the business. Everyone we worked with so awesome, professional and went far beyond our expectations. Clemence was also great at looking at our budget and providing recommendations on where to splurge and where to save based on our priorities. It helped us achieve a perfect balance for a perfect day. On the day of, everything was so well planned and executed, I really was spoiled in just enjoying the day. We had some slightly unplanned rain, but we had back-up plans that made the night even better than we thought. Many people asked my family if I was stressing before the wedding and everyone said I was as cool as a cucumber. I attribute that to Clemence and her fabulous team for taking care of every little detail so we could take in the day and celebrate. I could not be more thankful that we had the Perfect Pair as our wedding planner and I have recommended them in passing and online when we get DMs about our wedding venue.

    Working with Clemence as our wedding planner was the absolute best decision we could have made! We planned our September 2024 San Diego wedding from out of state and were only able to fly out twice before the big day, so having someone local, like Clemence, was so helpful. Clemence was so knowledgeable and her recommendations for vendors were always so great and fit so well with our vision. We were able to regularly meet with Clemence over Zoom or by phone. Whenever we weren't sure about how to go about doing something, Clemence always walked us through everything and kept us on track on our end. And of course, she handled so many other things behind the scenes, like vendor contracts, insurance, etc. When our wedding came along, Clemence worked greatly with all the vendors and venue staff to keep the day running smoothly. And when things didn't go as planned, as can be expected, Clemence handled everything so we could relax and stay focused on our day. We had a mix up with the photographer but Clemence handled the issue like a pro and got everyone on the same page. Before the ceremony, there was also an issue with the venue's sound system and Clemence handled it discreetly (we didn't even know about the problem until after it was resolved) and the ceremony and rest of the day was absolutely perfect. Clemence also made sure we were well fed, bringing us appetizers and desserts, while we were making our rounds with the guests and we felt so well taken care of. I would absolutely recommend Clemence and Perfect Pair Weddings to anyone who is looking for a wedding planner. Weddings can be super stressful but I can truly say Clemence made the whole process a fantastic experience we could enjoy!

    Where do we even begin? Before hiring Clémence, we met over a video call, getting to know each other to make sure we worked well together. We think this is an essential step in choosing any wedding planner, since ideas need to be communicated in both directions. Being on the same page about the vision of your wedding is key. It did not take long at all for us to know that she was the absolute best choice for us. Clémence is incredibly friendly and holds herself to such a high standard, and that shows in the work she does. She has an entire process for planning that includes timelines of when things are to be done, vendors are to be booked, and more. Everything is laid out clearly, and she checks in regularly to make sure things are on track. These timelines start from several months before the wedding and go all the way down to the day itself. She makes it known that she wants your day to be exactly how you want it and works hard to achieve that. Whenever we had a new idea or a modification to an existing one, she was always open to hearing it and working to make it happen. We went with an Italian garden-style theme for our wedding, and Clémence executed that vision perfectly. We somehow seemed to be on the same wavelength about everything. Not only did she follow through on executing our ideas, but she also incorporated her own input that fit into the wedding and expanded on it perfectly. As first-time bride and groom, we struggled with knowing how to budget properly. Clémence helped us spend in places where it made the most sense for us and save on things we didn't need. Bit of a random anecdote, but we wanted to have pizza at the end of our afterparty. Our initial search was going to have us spending hundreds of dollars to have standard pizzas delivered to our venue. Clémence saved the day when she found an even closer shop that made heart-shaped pizzas for a fraction of the cost. As Clémence has been doing this for a while now, she's gained rapport with several vendors and was able to speak to the quality of their work and service. This took so much pressure off of us, since we didn't merely have to trust the sales pitch of whatever vendors we happened to find on our own. Once we had our vendors locked in, Clémence took care of managing timelines for each, such as when to meet with them, choosing items for the wedding, and payment schedules. Not only does she work her hardest when she's by your side, she also has your back when you don't even notice. Nearly a month after the wedding, we found out that our venue's staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful to our vendors. This forced everyone to work at 110% to compensate for the lack of assistance. However, the way Clémence handled this was with such grace and professionalism that we didn't notice, nor did any of our guests, that things weren't running smoothly. Her integrity is truly inspiring. As cheesy as it may sound, we've gained a genuine lifelong friend in Clémence. The influence and quality of her work extend far beyond wedding planning. If it wasn't clear already, we cannot recommend Clémence enough. Her work speaks for itself and was by far the best investment we made for our wedding.

    Clemence and Emily were wonderful to work with. They were personable, professional and so helpful. I would highly recommend them. Clemence is an excellent communicator and provided us with a great time line and information to keep our planning on track. My daughter’s wedding was a huge success and they took care of all the details so we could enjoy the celebration.
