We had a great experience with Second Song! Planning was super easy with the Rob team during the 9ish months leading up to our wedding. On our wedding day, DJ Shredy was THE ICON of the night. We had built the playlist for the pre-ceremony, ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner, and he very much followed that our wishes. We really appreciated that because music is a huge part of our relationship. He was also very responsive over email and phone. He had a great personality on the day and was the perfect blend of an MC who was communicative but not overly on top of the mic. During the dance party portion of the evening, he rightfully threw in choices of his own that we hadn't thought of and I am so glad he did. He brought life to the party and we have gotten compliments since our wedding night about how much fun everyone had and how perfect the dance floor was. I am so happy to write a review for Seth and his team! From the very beginning, Seth has been a pleasure to work with. The first meeting I was very impressed by how he had researched the wedding venue and its layout so that he could ask us what our thoughts were on setup/DJ location placement etc. Our second meeting was then focused on how to set up the wedding playlist using the Vibo app. The app is fantastic, and an excellent way to keep track of the songs you wish to have played at certain time points (bridal processional, grand entrance, pre-ceremony, etc.). In the app you can request starting timepoints and leave extra notes for Seth to look over weeks before the wedding. Aside from these aspects, Seth went above and beyond to help us with other non-music related aspects of the wedding such as our wedding slideshow (that he helped give us step by step instructions so that the quality of the slideshow would be good for when it was projected on the wall of venue). He also created a mashup for my husband to dance with his mom ("Dance with me" mixed with "Just Dance"; it was amazing!). Even during the week of the wedding, when I had a mini-freak out, he was so kind and understanding. In the end, I 100% recommend Seth (and Matt too! He was at the Photo Booth, and he was so kind and was ready to help folks if any technical help was needed)! Seth's team is professional, kind, and has great attention to detail; if you can, book DJ Seth and his team for your wedding!

I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. One thing that we were really hoping for was getting a disco ball above our dance floor, but since we were outdoors, it wasn’t looking promising. The Oviatt Penthouse is a ridiculously unique venue. The outdoor patios are amazing- perfect for the ceremony, dinner and dancing. We had a band and it was perfect. The views are insane. The bridal suite is the original owner's bedroom- all w/ original furniture. Gorgeous. The staff were AMAZING. Super cool, down to earth, normal people who are great at their jobs. We are so beyond happy we went with this venue.

Literally from the first interaction, Trey was thoroughly professional. We knew instantly that we'd be in good hands during the process, and he maintained through the big day. With Trey, we always had clarity over next steps, and we also got as much flexibility as we could ever hope for. We had a slightly unusual (or, unconventional) ceremony in a couple of ways, and Trey handled every request without any issue. Lastly, and most importantly for a DJ, he nailed the music. The Moon Units made my wedding. It all started when my wife (fiancee at the time) forwarded me an Instagram clip of them because she knew I was set on hiring a live band. I took my sweet time to cast a wide net and to follow, interview, and compare A LOT of bands. We went out to watch our top two choices and when we saw The Moon Units' positive energy, ability to rock the crowd, and musical skill, we immediately knew that they were meant to be our band (just like when we saw the venue we wanted, we just knew). They are highly accommodating, musically versatile, and truly professional, Hollywood type performers who will seal the deal on upgrading your wedding from already great to one of the greatest your guests have ever been to. The three things that most impressed me about them during my wedding were: 1) they gave it their all on every song whether there were two people on the dance floor or the whole group (and believe me, your guests will notice this too), 2) they were able to improvise to seamlessly integrate with all my other vendors and moving parts without any interruptions, as if my wedding was truly an entertainment production, and 3) whether they were singing rock, hiphop (yacht version), metal, r&b, pop, Kpop, oldies, or jazz, they performed as if it was their main genre. We requested them to learn two of our favorite songs that we loved but were skeptical that they could perform because of how hard they were to sing, and man did they prove us wrong! Each of the musicians are friendly, multi talented/multi instrument, down to earth people who love what they do and have a great time performing. They output pure sound candy and also look great doing it. Your stage will be glammed up and filled out, and your guests will compliment and remember your band choice even more than your food, I guarantee it. My wife and I are now semi-groupies (and I'm not ashamed as their gigs take me back to the best night of my life), and we aren't the only ones! That's something that no Youtube clip or online review can really convey. Good luck and have a great time wedding planning, but hire The Moon Units!!!

We booked Ingrid and her team for the Final Month Planning / Day-Of Coordination for our wedding. Thank goodness we did! The process of working with Grand Entrance Affairs was excellent, at a reasonable price point, and it resulted in an absolutely perfect day. :) From the time Ingrid started working with us, she took a load off of our shoulders and we felt well taken care of. We are the type who like to be in control and plan everything ourselves, but we're so grateful that Ingrid brought her years of experience to ask us all the right questions and help us plan out the day-of timeline because we would have definitely gotten it wrong on our own. If there were any obstacles or things that went wrong on the wedding day, we were completely oblivious to it because her team handled it all without worrying us. They gave us just the right amount of attention to make us feel well taken care of while letting us enjoy each other's company and the company of our guests. We got MANY compliments from our guests about how professional and helpful the Grand Entrance Affairs team was. We heard their team was kind, respectful, quick, and professional. While they were never in the way, their team was somehow always there when needed. Their attention to detail, ability to work with so many vendors' personalities and communication styles, "I Can" attitude, and listening to us and working with us to bring our dream into fruition -- all of it was amazing. We had many unconventional ideas, and Ingrid was game for all of them. In the end, Ingrid and her team's tireless work resulted in a flawless wedding. We couldn't have imagined a better experience. My husband and I were beyond lucky to have Adam as our wedding photographer this past September. Sandy at Makeup by Sandy was an absolute dream to work with for my wedding day. From the start, she was very responsive and attentive, taking the time to listen to all of my likes, preferences, and dislikes. As someone who rarely wears makeup, she made sure I felt completely comfortable throughout the process and I absolutely loved the final look she created. Sandy's attention to detail was evident during the test trial, where she took meticulous notes and followed up afterward to get my feedback. On the day of the wedding, my makeup and hair looked amazing - she executed the look I had shown her in my inspiration photos perfectly. Dart Collective was incredible on our wedding day. The entire process of working with them was extremely easy. Their interactive music map allowed us to provide all the information needed for our wedding day, including our music preferences (and 'do not plays') for the cocktail hour and reception. They showed up in a major way and the music and vibes were absolute perfection. Our dance floor will be discussed in hushed, awed voices for decades to come.

The Platinum DJs were absolutely amazing as our wedding DJ! From the start, Carlos made the planning process so smooth by clearly communicating what he needed from us and offering helpful guidance along the way. He wasn’t just our reception DJ, he also provided all of the sound for our ceremony, which went perfectly. We were so impressed with his professionalism and talent. I truly can’t say enough amazing things about Carissa and her team at Positively Charming Weddings. She was the very first vendor I hired for my wedding, a year and a half in advance. Within the first 2 minutes of chatting with Carissa the first time, I knew we were the perfect match. She is incredibly organized, compassionate, an amazing listener, and isn’t afraid to take the lead and make decisions when necessary. She is thoughtful, calm, has a wealth of wedding industry knowledge and was able to provide personalized suggestions based on my preferences at every turn. To be honest, I was originally super nervous and anxious to hire a wedding planner, as I am a very type A person because of my job as a programs and event planner. But Carissa exceeded all expectations and truly was able to allow me to relax and enjoy my wedding weekend without a worry in the world. She was a problem solver every step of the way. For example, she offered to manually fixed my seating chart the day before the wedding and found a print shop willingly to print very specific last minute signage (both things that were my fault that they were delayed/wrong). She kept not only me, but my husband and both families on track leading up to the wedding, provided monthly checklists, was available via phone and email for my questions, and even provided bridal party itineraries the weekend of. Her and her team were incredibly easy to work with, and our other vendors and bridal party members said the exact same thing. She can work with anyone, with any personality type, and makes you feel important and heard. If you want someone to go above and beyond for you, look no further! She will make your day everything YOU want it to be. Couldn’t recommend her and her team more…I walked away with a new friend!
