“Justin & Jesse were amazing! We got married this past October at Blooming Hill Farm, and they made our wedding so special. We had Justin & Jesse play live music for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and then Justin DJ’ed our reception. Right from the start, Justin was incredibly easy to work and communicate with. We didn’t have a hyper-specific vision for our music and Justin was great at making recommendations but also allowing us to personalize things and make it more us. On the day of, they were punctual and so flexible - I think I sent my cut-off times for the first and parent dances the morning of the wedding! We got so many compliments on the live music, our guests were truly blown away by how talented they were. We had a very small wedding (20 people) and Justin was great at reading the mood on the dance floor. Our guests danced all night long! Can’t recommend these guys enough!”

He met with us multiple times prior to the event to go over music selection, flow of the ceremony day etc. His website was very easy to use and allowed us to have a large role in our music selection for the day, even for the reception dance portion. Everything was reviewed at least 3 times to ensure there were no hiccups, and also to make sure we wouldn't have to worry about anything on the ceremony day. On the day, Lou came in very early to setup and his equipment was extremely unobtrusive and sounded amazing. From the ceremony to reception (and especially cocktail hour), the sound was fantastic and there was not a single hiccup (even with an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour!). His flow through the reception was so smooth - and as a former college radio DJ, his music choice to fill in the gaps between the 'must plays' we sent him were impeccable!!! I couldn’t believe how easy it was to schedule time with him leading up to the wedding. We had several video calls and he was always calm and confident as we dished him all the stress we could manage. He knew just what to say to ease our tensions with any part of the process and was helpful on all fronts, not just the music. Imagine a young Rick Rubin who’s going to make your day happen through fierce professionalism and calming holistic approach. Day of, Lucas was there early and making sure all the gear was working and problem solving on the scene to make the experience even better than we had talked about. He was able to not only have the music playing through the two large speakers we had planned for outside, but also got it seemlessly hooked up to the speakers throughout the interior space. This was key, because we had to last minute move the whole wedding inside due to rain. It was priceless to see see Lucas problem solving all of that with plenty of time to spare because I had so many other things to worry about with the shifting rain plans. I knew I didn’t have to worry about that whole part of it though, and the quality of the sound throughout the day really smoothed over all of the last minute adjustments and helped make everything feel like it was all part of the plan. It was a perfect day beyond my wildest expectations, and Lucas Walters was a huge part of that.”

“Joey G is like my cool uncle except he’s got sick DJ skills. He did our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Not only was he professional and organized, but he also brought an incredible energy to our wedding. For the ceremony and cocktail hour, we provided him with a specific music selection, and even though we never rehearsed together, he nailed it perfectly. During the reception, we gave him a playlist, and he struck the perfect balance between sticking to our choices and reading the crowd to keep everyone dancing. One highlight was when Joey G handed the microphone to people in the crowd, turning our reception into an impromptu karaoke party. It was a blast! He was not only fun and engaging but also very attentive to our needs. He asked how to pronounce each name correctly for the toasts, ensuring everything went smoothly. We requested that he not take song requests, and he respected our wishes completely. The sound quality was stellar, and his equipment setup was flawless. Joey G understood our need for clean music as we had many families with young children attending, yet he still kept the atmosphere lively and fun. The dance floor was packed with all 150 guests! Joey G was also a great help with announcements, coordinating toasts, and working with friends and family to announce the newlyweds and photo groups.
