He had a mic on the lapel of the groom and our officiant so that I, as the bride, did not have to worry about wearing one and between the two mics all of the ceremony audio (speech, vows, etc) was picked up flawlessly. At the reception, Justin had an awesome set up that looked super clean and modern but also had fun lighting to get the party going. He was an excellent MC for all of our big announcements and could perfectly read the crowd to keep the dance energy up. His wife, Lesley, was also wonderful as the photo booth attendant. “Our DJ and the A Music Plus team was fantastic. Our venue was untraditional in that we had the entire rustic property for the weekend and one of my favorite things about a wedding is the dancing. I did not want to be constrained by a certain time the DJ would stop playing if I wanted to keep dancing with my favorite people. We also needed sound equipment to be provided. Surprisingly, this is difficult to find in the entertainment industry and if you do, it costs an arm and a leg or they begin charging by the hour, making budgeting exceedingly difficult to account for. Initially we were planning to make Spotify work with some speakers! But then we found A Music Plus. They were amazing! A Music Plus worked to make a contract and timeline that worked for US and was tailored to what was most important for our day. They were professional and responsive leading up in the final months of planning. But most importantly, they were a blast. Our DJ was comfortable on the mic when it was needed but didn't steal the show. He transitioned music seamlessly from cocktail hour to dinner and dancing and then really shined when we wanted to let loose and dance until 2AM. “I had initially heard Mary perform at a wedding for a friend of mine and was blown away. So when I got engaged and was planning my wedding, she was a top contender to have perform for me as well. Right from the beginning I was totally impressed with her. Having never planned a wedding myself, she was very helpful in knowing and planning the flow of the day. I will also mention I live hours away from Mary and had to communicate primarily through e-mail, but she was extremely flexible, responsive, and easy to work with. The day of the wedding, it was a small, only 25 person, ceremony at the Denver Botanic Gardens where Mary played beforehand as people arrived, the whole music during the ceremony, and for a portion of the cocktail hour following the ceremony. During the cocktail hour I think all of the guests came up to me to either compliment her playing or ask where I found her. The next day even, everyone continued to be amazed by and comment on how awesome the music was. Her repertoire is huge, which helps to choose something more classic, contemporary, or just different. She can do it all and is even willing to learn new pieces if given enough time. I cannot give a higher recommendation for Mary. She is amazing!”

“We hired Philip from Good Musicians for our wedding and he was phenomenal! Philip played acoustic guitar for our ceremony/cocktail hour and then transitioned to a fantastic DJ for the reception! He did such a great job playing the song requests we had on the guitar, and he even learned a few that was very important for us to be played! We got SO many compliments from the guests of the wedding on how well he preformed- including family members that are singers and performers themselves! Then for the reception, he brought the PARTY as the DJ. He was able to really capture the vibe of what we were looking for as well as what the guests wanted to hear. Prior to the wedding, he was very attentive to what we were looking for in terms of song request and do not play lists. He also provided a very large song library of suggestions, as well as songs he knows how to play via Spotify- this made our lives SO much easier and was such a great resource! We also rented uplighting and cold fireworks for our wedding though Philip, which really elevated the party atmosphere. I highly recommend to hire Philip/good musicians for your wedding, he was such a pleasure to have! I can only imagine how talented his band is as well!!”

“Jay came highly recommended to us because of two other family members that had hired him for their weddings. From the start, Jay was incredibly kind, supportive, completely on top of every little detail and just really helpful throughout the process. When we had to postpone our May 2020 wedding because of Covid, and then changed our August 2020 rescheduled wedding to more of an elopement with 17 people, he was really flexible and supportive and and just wanted to help in whatever way he could. Our wedding weekend turned out to be a little extra stressful and he was calm and professional the entire time. The timing and edits of the music all turned out perfectly and he does an awesome job as the Master of Ceremonies. We wish we could have seen Jay shine with a huge dance party because we knew it would have been epic, but honestly, he shined in the ways you want any wedding vendor of yours to shine: he acted like a friend who was going to be there for you no matter what. I cannot recommend him enough and thank him for being such an amazing vendor and person!”

“Having Julianne play at our wedding in the botanical garden was just fantastic! I had her for the ceremony and the reception. She came early and started before the ceremony when guests are coming in. All her performance to the songs requested were very satisfying. There was also one song that she had to coordinate with other person, which she did so easy and awesome. Her harp melodies were so beautiful and soothing, and we got loads of compliments on them. Some guests even worried about her hands because she played so much! Julianne stayed in touch the whole time from the song selections and till the wedding day. Looking back, it came out to be the best choice to have her for my special day.”
