Almost a month later and we have not stopped receiving compliments about our wedding day.\n\nWe got married in early November, so there wasn’t much foliage on the trees, but that did not take away any of the beauty of this venue! We lucked out with weather and had a gorgeous outdoor ceremony in front of the lake. The transition from our ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception was flawless and incredibly well-organized. The venue itself is breathtaking with its large windows, offering stunning views and a layout that allowed for an easy and natural flow throughout the day. There are also SO MANY photo ops, so even if weather didn’t cooperate, we would have had gorgeous photos no matter what!\n\nThe food was nothing short of amazing! All of our guests, even our most high-maintenance ones, were highly impressed from our passed hors d’oeuvres, to our piping hot dinner. They LOVED the cookies & milk station, as well as our late-night french fry bar!\n\nI had been dreaming about this day for as long as I can remember, and I am super type-a, so I have been planning every detail for awhile! It was important to me that certain details were executed the way I had envisioned them. We were assigned Victoria as our Event Producer about 8 months prior to our wedding. She gave us the best advice and suggestions throughout the planning process, which is appreciated when you have so many decisions to make! We had a large wedding of 180 guests, as well as an 8-piece band, so it was important to us to have a large dance floor. Victoria put together the perfect floor plan that allowed us to dance the night away! On the day of our wedding, she setup all of our décor the exact way we envisioned it, and then some! We were so happy to have her there, and she was equally excited to be there for us. We truly did not have to lift a finger once we got to the venue! Our Event Manager, Aubre, kept everything running smoothly behind-the-scenes on our wedding day to the point where we did not have to worry about a thing. Our Wedding Attendant, Emma, was always right there when we needed her! She carried my bouquet or drink, bustled my dress, and even made sure we had and ate our appetizers, dinner, and dessert! These 3 women were lifesavers, and we could not have gotten through the day without them! We had our ceremony outdoors in the courtyard just outside the building, and the staff helped us to get the permits to use the courtyard, helped to set up microphones for the ceremony, and also helped work with us on a backup plan to have the ceremony indoors in case it had rained on our wedding day. The courtyard is a charming spot with trellises and greenery and is surrounded by classic-looking New England buildings. Adria and Taylor on the staff were extremely helpful in helping us plan our reception: they answered our many questions and let us rehearse in the venue so that we could figure out how we wanted to lay out the space. The theater hall was an amazing place to have our reception: we especially loved the balcony and the design of the ceiling, and there was plenty of room for a little over 100 guests, buffet tables, a DJ, and a dance floor. The venue was also a really convenient location for our guests - it's close to the T and has several nearby hotels. Yasmene and Heather were great to work with and our wedding ran incredibly smoothly. The venue itself is beautiful and unique, our guests had a great time. The prices are incredibly reasonable and we additionally received an off season discount. Their wedding packages include so much beyond the standard wedding packages including the use of the bridal suite, appetizers/champagne in the bridal suite on the wedding day, use of their (beautiful) centerpieces, a separate happy hour for the wedding party during photographs and much more. Yasmene went above and beyond on our wedding day- she even sewed my nephew's superhero mask when it broke. Many of our guests commented on how she was the best wedding coordinator they had ever seen. Overall, we are incredibly happy with our selection of the Nahant Country Club. Sharon and Maria were incredible. We were originally supposed to have our wedding at on a family members property, but they pulled out on us 82 days from the wedding. With a stroke of luck they had our date available. I emailed and called on a Monday morning and Sharon called me on speaker phone while driving her kids to work because she understood my urgency. They got me in for a meeting that very day and we officially booked the venue the next day. Honestly the entire situation was a blessing. They really handle everything for you the day of and the help so much in the planning process when it comes to your decor and schedule planning. They communicated well and promptly. They were there on time and waiting for us at every meeting we had scheduled. They accommodated our schedules. I joked that although I have never taken anxiety meds, I believe that Maria is that in human form. Our wedding came together so beautifully. We were wanting a fun, and relax vibe of a family BBQ and we got exactly that. Having the covered porch was so nice for our guests that would rather conversate and chill, than dance and party. We were able to have an ice cream and pizza truck at the end of the night and they coordinated with them to set up in the right spot. For decor we literally just dropped off our boxes and went over last minute things, and they took it from there. We arrived and it was just how we wanted things and at the end of the night everything was neatly packed in the car to go. Pricing was also insanely good. We looked at many other bring your own vendor venues and non were priced as well as them and also coordinated the day for you. We had our wedding in Paige Hall in December 2023. The seasonal decor was amazing making it feel truly like a hallmark movie. The venue is homey and the grounds are wonderfully maintained. Allison and the team pay such close attention to detail and made my vision come to life. You don’t have to worry about anything. This venue takes care of set up and take down. Your wedding cake is made in house with the baker and they are absolutely delicious!
