“Where do I even begin--how about with how hard it was to pick ONLY ten photos to include with this review?!? When we purchased Yellow Paddle's 1.5 photographer package, I was already over the moon. Having a second shooter, even for part of the day, was something I never dreamed I could afford, and it was so exciting to find a photography vendor where the pricing was so readily available. It's almost impossible to quantify the ways that Lan and Mike contributed to our day, and I am still in shock at how much I paid for how much we got. Yellow Paddle let us peruse all of their available photographers for our wedding date, and aside from how much we loved Lan's portfolio, there was also so much in his biography that resonated with us as a couple. From the moment we met Lan at our (incredibly well-priced) engagement session, we knew we had hit the nail on the head. Talking to him was easy, we shared tons of common interests, and despite both feeling very awkward in front of a camera, Lan captured our love and excitement with such intimacy and authenticity. Because of the connection we built at our engagement session, welcoming Lan into our getting-ready spaces was much more like greeting an old friend than meeting a wedding vendor. We didn't get to choose our second shooter with the 1.5 photographer package, but Mike was also an invaluable part of our day. My husband mentions frequently that Mike helped put him at ease just before our first look photos when he was feeling his most nervous. Lan and Mike worked well with each other, too; there wasn't any tension or stepping on each other's toes. When we got our gallery back (far sooner than the expected delivery date), we were in absolute awe. Lan and Mike delivered far above and beyond what we had ever dreamed of receiving when we started planning our wedding, and frankly above and beyond what we even expected based on Yellow Paddle's pricing/package details. From the staged family photos and accessory shots to the candids of guests and private moments between my husband and me, Lan and Mike truly captured the warmth, intimacy, love, and connection we felt throughout our special day. “Hosted a wedding for 80 people at The Grange and it was perfect! Beautiful building and covered outdoor space. Great options to customize the space included having the large garage style doors open, gas fireplaces, heaters, adjustable lighting, variety of table sizes, plenty of chairs and a sound system. The kitchen and bar area were great since the party was self-catered. The Grange staff was very helpful and kind. Highly recommend this venue and the price cannot be beat!”

“Professionalism. This group truly works as a team from Sales, to Planning, to Execution. The staff is extremely kind, patient, and knowledgeable. This was especially crucial for me as this was a destination wedding for me, so everything was accomplished virtually. The planning process was enjoyable, and for an out of town bride like me, the wedding planning binder was a lifesaver. The team the day-of was amazing. The extra, small touches were above and beyond what I expected. Value. It was amazing how far our dollar stretched at Ashley Ridge! At other venues, the cost of simply renting the empty space covered the venue space and so much more at Ashley Ridge. They have great decor and extra features that would be an additional fee at other venues like the greenery wall and cloud lighting. The food was absolutely delicious as well! They also provide a military discount! Location. This was an amazing spot for out-of-town guests as it sits by several hotels, restaurants, and things to do. The views of the mountains were stunning as well. There are several parks nearby for wedding party photos. There are tons of restaurants nearby for rehearsal dinners.”
