I started my professional career in Boulder, Colorado, riding on the backs of motorcycles, chasing professional cyclists through winding roads and epic climbs. I never thought I would find another career as exhilarating and rewarding but I was wrong. I photographed weddings in Colorado, but it wasn’t until moving East, to Charlottesville, Virginia, that I fell in love with them. I felt like I was witnessing the raw emotions the couple was feeling and the little moments between the two of them that went unnoticed to the rest of the guests. On top of being wildly talented, she also is extremely responsive, has an awesome guide that answers any questions you could possibly have, and sends out a detailed questionnaire before the wedding day to make sure she captures any little details you want. She is also so sweet and just a great person. For our wedding she had a second shooter, Kelly Spaine, who was equally awesome and literally felt like a ride-or-die capturing all of the wedding picture requests from guests. Both Eilish and Kelly captured our day while also being extremely unobtrusive. We never felt like we were at a forced red carpet event that happened to be our wedding. They were THE best team we could have asked for. Eilish doesn't know it yet, but I have already made sure her website says she does family photos... because we need her for all of our life events. “My husband and I used to get dinner at the Local when we attended UVA and dreamed about having them caterer our wedding. Once we started touring venues around Charlottesville, we kept hearing about how great they were to work with and knew that we just had to make it happen. They were our favorite restaurant and now they're our favorite caterer! The food was fantastic - our friends still haven't stopped talking about the mashed potatoes - and the team was very helpful during the tasting and while we went back and forth on what we wanted to serve, it was hard to choose between all the yummy options! We also used their coordination services and are unbelievably happy with Helen and all of the staff that helped make our day possible. Helen was a lifesaver and was so easy to rely on to get the job done! We knew we needed a strong coordinator since we were planning our wedding from out of state and she stepped up whenever we needed help, even being on site while vendors came to set up days prior since we could not be there. On the day of, she handled everything so gracefully, like our reception power being out, and made sure we only knew what was necessary as not to stress us out! She even brought over our specialty cocktails and a tray of our apps during cocktail hour! All of the Local staff were pleasant and did a great job setting up the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception areas - it was just as we envisioned. I really can't say enough about Helen and the Local, they made our dreams reality and helped us so much in the last few weeks, I don't know what I would have done without them. Their professionalism, quality, and reliability cannot be beat!”

“Camp Holiday Trails is such a wonderful, unique wedding venue. It has has an Everyone-is-Welcome summer camp vibe. There are plenty of accommodations for you, your family, your wedding party and more to stay there on site and make a weekend out of it, so you can spend quality time together. From a photographer's point of view, there were plenty of beautiful options around the property for doing portraits. You can do photos up by these very old, historic barns up on a hill, or down by the creek, with a pretty bridge or down by the lake where there is an array of colorful canoes!”

We were so lucky for Audra to work with us for a boudoir, a Catholic ceremony, a rehearsal dinner and our wedding. Looking back I feel SO grateful that we chose to work with her. She tells your story through her lens in a way that feels so much more than just "a photo". She is an artist in every form of the word and she is brilliant at her craft. I feel like every photo she takes could have a poem or heartfelt story attached. Everything is so intentional and beautifully crafted. She is so good about making you look natural, unposed and authentically you. She is so much more than I could have ever imagined our wedding photographer would provide. She worked closely with us on timeline, making sure everything was comfortable, she paid attention to what we liked or didn't like. The details, the candids, the emotional shots, photos of my in laws, the hands of our grandparents, the way the light was shining in the stained glass windows that morning, just every detail was captured and flipping through the photos felt like breaking down the day into bite size pieces that we could take in slowly and treasure forever. Audra was always on time, always prepared and I am so grateful that one of the only things I will be able to take with me from my wedding day(s) will be the photography she so artfully captured so we can remember as many details as possible (because it truly does go so fast). I cannot say enough good things, she was hands down my favorite vendor and if you love the work you see, I promise you, she can make that happen for you too. I truly cannot believe some of her art work is us and I will cherish it for a lifetime. Also her husband did some behind the scenes for the Catholic wedding and it was the sweetest surprise to see those little moments, again captured so intentionally and giving such a well rounded feel of the day. He was a true professional, expertly navigating less-than-ideal weather to capture photos that exceeded all our expectations. The wedding package we selected was seamless and stress-free. It included gorgeous flowers, a kind and professional officiant, and every element we needed to make our day unforgettable. Our stay at the Albemarle Estate was equally exceptional. Between the pristine grounds, beautifully appointed rooms, and the privacy of the cabin we stayed in, the estate made us feel like we had our own little paradise. With only about 11 rooms on the property, it offered a level of exclusivity that was especially memorable for our New Year’s Eve wedding. We couldn’t have been luckier to host our wedding here. The property’s uniqueness, from the incredible chapel to the estate’s picturesque surroundings, far surpassed any other venue we explored. Additionally, the entire elopement package was an extraordinary value. We feel so fortunate to meet such genuine people and have the opportunity to tell their stories. Since 2014 we have shot over 150 weddings at more than 60 venues. We are based in Charlottesville, Virginia and love photographing weddings here as well as Richmond, Washington DC, and beyond.

He walked us though everything, and had a detailed form to fill out and get back to him about what kind of music we wanted or didn't want, when we wanted it played, and timeline for the event. We spoke on the phone about a week before the wedding to go over the paper, and he was so knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The day of the wedding, our timeline got moved around due to the health of a family member, and TD barely blinked an eye. He moved songs around for us easily, took examples of songs we had given him and expanded on them, and had everyone out on the dance floor after dinner.
