“KATELYNN MY LOVE! Literally where do I begin! Eventually designed is a dream wedding planning team. Katelynn was always available whenever I needed her (talked me down from many many bridal panic attacks), she’s so knowledgeable about the area and weddings in general. Not only is she knowledgeable, but she LISTENS and understands your vision and will make sure you get what you want. She has such a calming presence and I don’t know how I would have gotten through this wedding without her. I met with a lot of wedding planning teams before selecting her and one of favorite things about her planning approach is that she is human first. She is not trying to squeeze you for every last dollar, she genuinely just wants to help. We also used them for our floral arrangements and oh my god it was stunning. I need to also shout out Bishop and Elise who I spent less time with but were equally amazing. Elise became my wedding day bestie. She was approachable, professional, and brought a wealth of experience—particularly with weddings at the Desert Botanical Garden. Her deep familiarity with the venue, its layout, and staff gave us tremendous peace of mind from the very beginning. We chose NJ Event Collective’s “Day of Coordination” package, as I wanted to handle much of the event design and DIY elements myself. I’m incredibly thankful that Niki’s team was our coordinator as they were absolutely instrumental in making our day run smoothly and stress-free. Throughout the planning process, we primarily communicated with Jaime, Niki’s lead assistant, who was outstanding—organized, efficient, and always on top of every detail. She ensured that nothing fell through the cracks. Our in-person meetings were with Niki, who was always well-informed and seamlessly aligned with everything we had discussed with Jaime. Although Jaime was unable to be present on the wedding day due to maternity leave, the rest of the NJ team stepped in effortlessly. One of the standout tools they used was a shared drive, which housed our timeline, vendor details, setup instructions, and more. “We absolutely loved working with Liz for our wedding. She was hired to be our day-of-coordinator and was amazing to work with. We had meetings every few weeks about 3-4 months prior to the wedding and she helped us shape our wedding vision, color scheme, and offered a lot of helpful advice and suggestions to make sure we had all facets of the wedding covered. I had a magical forest theme for my wedding and she knew exactly how I can convert our wedding venue to that theme and also offered suggestions on what decor I can buy to bring the vision to life. She is also such a kind and beautiful person that also represented me and my husband's best interests and would express our wishes to our vendors. On the day before and on the day of our wedding, she and her wonderful team of assistants helped us decorate our venue to match our vision. We had quite an extensive decor list and her and her team knocked it out of the park! Not only that, but she worked very well behind the scenes throughout the wedding to make sure everything was taken care of and so we didn't have to worry about anything. The one time when there was an issue, we had a vendor that showed up quite late, Liz quietly pulled us aside and helped us contact the vendor and took care of the details so we didn't have to worry about it anymore.
