“Justin & Jesse were amazing! We got married this past October at Blooming Hill Farm, and they made our wedding so special. We had Justin & Jesse play live music for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and then Justin DJ’ed our reception. Right from the start, Justin was incredibly easy to work and communicate with. We didn’t have a hyper-specific vision for our music and Justin was great at making recommendations but also allowing us to personalize things and make it more us. On the day of, they were punctual and so flexible - I think I sent my cut-off times for the first and parent dances the morning of the wedding! We got so many compliments on the live music, our guests were truly blown away by how talented they were. During the reception, we gave him a playlist, and he struck the perfect balance between sticking to our choices and reading the crowd to keep everyone dancing. He was not only fun and engaging but also very attentive to our needs. He asked how to pronounce each name correctly for the toasts, ensuring everything went smoothly. We live in Brooklyn, and got married in the Catskills, and found out that Lucas also DJs regularly at some of our favorite spots in Brooklyn. From our first contact with Lucas, he was responsive, kind, interested in getting to know us and our taste, and super professional. We connected on a personal level as well as on a musical one. Now, having had Lucas DJ our wedding and supply all of the audio equipment, we can't recommend him highly enough. The audio for our ceremony and speeches worked without a hitch (he also helped to professionally feed our ceremony audio/music into our livestream setup), Lucas knew exactly the right moments to take cues for music, and when the dance party began, he played great music that totally matched our vibe and tastes, and as promised, he kept the dance floor full all night (no small feat, especially because we downsized our wedding to 60 guests). In addition to being an excellent DJ, he's also a great guy to be around, and on your wedding day, it's really nice to feel like you are surrounded by people you want to spend time with. Multiple people came up to us to ask about Lucas during and after our wedding, because he was that exceptional. Hire him and you will be so glad you did! Couldn't ask for more in a DJ.”
