Her journey started at the age of six years old, Melissa-May was surrounded by all aspects of creativity. Her ability to visualize things, put them onto paper and create anything from scratch was also apparent at a young age when she completed an illustration of her dream house, then constructed an entire floor plan and a model house made out of popsicle sticks. Furthermore, at the age of 12, her friend’s mother noticed Melissa-May’s gift of artistry and requested that she create cartoon place cards for her daughter’s Bat Mitzvah. She later was asked to create the invitations and centerpieces for her best friend’s Debutant ball.

“Joanna is amazing! She designed and crafted all the florals at my wedding and did such a great job. The whole process working with her from start to finish was pleasant and painless. She is super knowledgeable about flowers, color design, what will be in season, how to make the arrangements fit your vision and personal style. She designed two pergolas at my wedding without using foam which made me feel even better that it was eco-conscious. She was professional, timely, thoughtful, and so easy to work with. She coordinated seamlessly with my planner/decorator and the venue rep. Her arrangements really made our photos pop. Highly recommend!!!”
