From the very beginning, Danielle was the reason we fell in love with the venue, her energy, warmth, and attention to detail made us feel so confident in our decision. When she transitioned out of her role, we were a little anxious, but then Melissa came in and completely blew us away.\n\nMelissa worked with us through the last 6 months of planning and was nothing short of incredible. She listened to every idea, every concern, and somehow made everything happen exactly how we envisioned it. She always made us feel heard, never overwhelmed, and her calm, organized energy was everything we needed. On the day of the wedding, she was a total rockstar. She kept everything running smoothly and still managed to check in with us, make us laugh, and reassure us that everything was under control. We honestly don't know what we would’ve done without her!\n\nAmber joined the team just days before the wedding, but you’d never know it. She was so on top of things and jumped right in like she had been with us the whole time. Matt was also amazing, he made sure the day flowed perfectly and kept everything on schedule without ever making us feel rushed.\n\nThe food was delicious and there was so much of it, our guests are still talking about it! The bartending team was fast, friendly, and so easy to work with. Everyone from the Fairview Laguna Seca team went above and beyond to make our day feel special and stress-free.\n\nOur DJ, Ernesto, did an incredible job! He stuck to the vibe we wanted, played every request we had, and kept the dance floor going all night long.\n And the FLORALS … wow. D'Lily's absolutely nailed it. Nestled among the towering redwoods, this place offers a magical blend of natural beauty and charm that’s perfect for weddings from 20 people to 150. No matter the size, it always feels like an elevated backyard weddings with seamless transitions between spaces with plenty of photo oppurtunities. The outdoor ceremony space, with its meadow and stunning views of the Bay Area, is absolutely breathtaking. And the transition to a yummy dinner on the deck makes for such a cozy evening to top off the celebration. Not to mention, the fire pits s’mores option at the end of the night is an excellent way to make sure all guests feel comfortable and can enjoy their time - dance party or no! \n\nFrom a photographer’s perspective, this venue is a dream. The redwoods, open spaces, and panoramic views create endless opportunities for gorgeous photos, no matter the season or time of day. Plus, the staff here are amazing - always professional, friendly, and on top of everything, making every event run smoothly. I highly recommend working with their venue coordinators to keep things running smoothly, and the kitchen staff is beyond. She genuinely cared about us and our dream wedding and did everything she could to make our dreams come true!\nThe chef, the banquet staff, the bar staff, security, everyone was so professional, on top of EVERYTHING, and made it so we had zero worries on our day. Our wedding day was a complete dream, and that's because of The Century and their amazing team of dedicated, professional, caring employees!\nSpeaking of which, Leticia from Hand Creations Floral, their in house florist, brought my visions to life and moved me to tears with her execution! She was so easy to work with, understood our needs and vision with very minimal direction (I knew what I wanted but didn't always know how to vocalize it), and executed beyond my wildest dreams! My bouquet, which were the only flowers I had other than boutonnieres and corsages, exceeded my wildest dreams! The day went SO seamlessly and the staff were honestly one of my favorite parts of it. Starting with the moment we checked in for the week, everyone from the front desk staff to the waiters at our rehearsal dinner and wedding were so professional, kind, and excited for us. They really added to the experience. The facilities themselves are gorgeous. We got married on the terrace, surrounded by the view of the mountains. My husband and I took a little hike through the grounds with our photographer, it was so fun! Our guests RAVED about the facilities and had so much fun - many of them coordinated family day trips into the park. Some of our classy guests who are used to high end travel were very happy with the service and quality of the resort, restaurant, and bar. Many of our guests were traveling with small children and they also found it a really positive wedding experience - they were able to stay at the wedding all night and the kids had a blast. Some families stayed in the cabins and enjoyed that experience as well. The local vendors are awesome. The only caution I would warn new brides of is to OVER communicate during the planning stage. The wedding brochure is slightly outdated and doesn’t always have complete information. For example, we got caught having to pay an extra 700 to upgrade our meal package to include a third entree after we found out we had more than the allowed number of vegetarians, even though the brochure states that guests on a vegetarian or special diet will be accommodated, and does not state that there is a limit to the number of vegetarian/special diets. I would also encourage brides to use a wedding planner. As a type A person, I thought I could plan the wedding myself. However, the venue hosts many events and the venue coordinator does not always have extra time to really help you plan your dream wedding the way a planner can. Especially if you don’t live locally, you will really benefit from a planner who has worked at the venue before.
