Not only was he professional and organized, but he also brought an incredible energy to our wedding. For the ceremony and cocktail hour, we provided him with a specific music selection, and even though we never rehearsed together, he nailed it perfectly. During the reception, we gave him a playlist, and he struck the perfect balance between sticking to our choices and reading the crowd to keep everyone dancing. One highlight was when Joey G handed the microphone to people in the crowd, turning our reception into an impromptu karaoke party. It was a blast! He was not only fun and engaging but also very attentive to our needs. He asked how to pronounce each name correctly for the toasts, ensuring everything went smoothly. We requested that he not take song requests, and he respected our wishes completely. The sound quality was stellar, and his equipment setup was flawless. We live in Brooklyn, and got married in the Catskills, and found out that Lucas also DJs regularly at some of our favorite spots in Brooklyn. From our first contact with Lucas, he was responsive, kind, interested in getting to know us and our taste, and super professional. We connected on a personal level as well as on a musical one. Now, having had Lucas DJ our wedding and supply all of the audio equipment, we can't recommend him highly enough. The audio for our ceremony and speeches worked without a hitch (he also helped to professionally feed our ceremony audio/music into our livestream setup), Lucas knew exactly the right moments to take cues for music, and when the dance party began, he played great music that totally matched our vibe and tastes, and as promised, he kept the dance floor full all night (no small feat, especially because we downsized our wedding to 60 guests). In addition to being an excellent DJ, he's also a great guy to be around, and on your wedding day, it's really nice to feel like you are surrounded by people you want to spend time with. Multiple people came up to us to ask about Lucas during and after our wedding, because he was that exceptional. Hire him and you will be so glad you did! Couldn't ask for more in a DJ.”

“Living Jade was the best decision we made for our wedding vendors. They played at our engagement party in Santa Barbara and our actual wedding in San Francisco. Steve encountered an issue with a band member. The singer got sick the day before the wedding, but he found a replacement that was outstanding. His network of musicians allowed him to resolve a major issue. My husband and I were happy that our contract was respected. On top of that, the energy of the band was amazing on stage. “Brian is one of the best wedding DJs in the business. In the past two years I’ve been to eight different weddings. Brian was the DJ for three of the eight, and the party/reception component of the events was never more fun than when Brian was driving the bus. He is an east coast DJ, but he spun tracks at both of my sister-in-laws’ weddings and as we were searching for a DJ for our own wedding we reached out just to see what he would charge for a wedding in Chicago. Turns out the price was right. Brian traveled to Chicago, MC’d our entire wedding, brought all of the equipment necessary and made our day exceptional in every way. I think there are a few things that really set Brian apart from other wedding DJs. Anyone can stand there and run through a playlist, but Brian went off book a few times to match and capture the energy of the guests. As we were in the midst of the planning process he added zero stress, and just calmly walked us through the process of selecting songs. He had suggestions and recommendations along the way. He even brought an extra speaker so that we could plug our digital piano in and the pianist would be able to play loudly enough. Overall, we can’t recommend Brian highly enough. You will not regret choosing him to DJ at your wedding, party, event. Whatever it is, Brian is a huge value add and a pleasure to work with.”
