We held our rehearsal dinner and welcome party at Plumsteadville Inn and we are so happy we did! It was the perfect kickoff to our wedding weekend! We held both events in the upstairs banquet room, which worked great with our numbers (about 40 rehearsal dinner guests and an additional 50 welcome party attendees), as everyone had enough room to walk around and mingle. Matt and team were very easy to work with throughout the whole process from booking the space, choosing the menu, accommodating for food allergies and night-of service. The food, of course, was delicious! And the staff was so attentive and took care of us the whole night. All our guests had a great time. Highly recommend booking your next event at the Plum!

I can’t say enough about this venue! We had a New Year’s Eve wedding 12-31-23 with 230 guests and it was exceptional. We used both the modern 11th floor Skyline Room for the ceremony and the gorgeous traditional ballroom on the main floor for the reception. We had a block of rooms for our guests and they raved about the accommodations and the service. The rooms were spacious and spotless. The bridal suite was huge and easily accommodated 8 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and 4 aestheticians. The food was amazing; prime rib, crab cakes and chicken francaise were our choices. It was delicious and served hot. They have a variety of entrees to choose from. The staff was attentive to our needs as well as professional and friendly. Pricing was very reasonable considering all the amenities included. I highly recommend The Americus Hotel for a wedding or any other function. Mother of the Groom

Our hotel is housed in a century old, 10-story Georgian revival-style structure with intriguing historical flair, that was once the home to Philadelphia's marquee YMCA. It is located in the heart of the city's business district and less than one block from the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Striking features and architectural detail awaken the eye: a skylight allows for the play of natural light to our 75-foot central atrium courtyard, while an airy restaurant/bar with graceful archways and classic woodwork bring endless possibility. Our 202 rooms feature bold black and white decor with inspired red accents to enhance the hotel interior's rich millwork. We held our wedding reception at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel in November 2024 as well as hosted our wedding room block. We'd highly recommend for both! We have nothing but absolutely positive things to say about Andreea Denes with catering. We've worked with Andreea for about a year and a half now and she feels like family! Andreea is both professional and personable and ensured we knew all our options for a reception at the Loews. Andreea helped us take advantage of all the amazing event spaces the Loews has to offer (cocktail hour on the 33rd floor, reception in the Millennium Hall, after party in Bank & Bourbon) as well as created a custom package for our reception and cocktail hour that reflected everything we could have wanted. Maria and Lena with the room reservation teams were so wonderful to work with, taking amazing care of our families and accommodating all our changes and requests. The entire Loews staff (catering, concierge, front desk, etc) was absolutely wonderful during our stay. Our guests are still commenting on the exceptional service. About a third of our wedding guests stayed at the Loews and expressed it was the perfect location to spend the weekend exploring Philadelphia.

The Hotel Palomar went above and beyond for our wedding weekend in the spring. We had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and morning after brunch as well as our room block at the hotel. The even coordinator, Erin S. and the entire team involved went above and beyond every step of the way. Five months before our wedding, I had to have major surgery and quarantine for two – three months after. I was unable to attend our food tasting but my fiancé and both sets of parents went on my behalf. Erin was not only understanding but supportive as my own family and friends were – checking in and celebrating with me after the surgery. When the tasting came, the chef sent home full-sized portions for me to try at home. This was in addition to the full-sized ones my family tried as well. The entire staff was there to answer any questions from me or our family. We had several dietary restrictions which Erin coordinated with the chef on our behalf to make sure those guests were included without having to worry. We had a memorial table as well as several things to be set out (guest book, favors, name cards, etc.). I gave all these items to the team and it was fully taken care of for me and they even knew which favors were to be for gluten free guests. Erin provided a list of pre-approved vendors they had worked with before (we didn’t have to use these) and we ended up using a lot of them. Erin coordinated with them directly as needed, photography locations for if it rained and DJ timeline. Due to the top tier efforts of the entire hotel, we were AHEAD of schedule the entire weekend which really allowed everyone to be fully present. My bridal party and I were in the suite for preparations and they continued to go above and beyond. We had a team member bring us our food and coffee order and he was so accommodating. He brought iced coffee when I mentioned that’s my preferences and we talked about our pets since I had my dog with me (as did several of our guests). Our guests were also well taken care of – from unpacking cars for their stays to helping our vendors get to their locations. I would sit here and list every name of every person that I felt were stars but honestly, it was the entire team. Everyone I encountered the whole time was a five star person. I cannot recommend this location enough for any occasion including just a regular weekend stay in Philadelphia.

The Guild House team was fantastic to work with for our micro-wedding! We wanted something moody, yet modern and ties in well with women's history and we enjoyed every minute of it. Stepping back in time, you see the attention to detail, the lounge was intimate, yet spacious enough to have a ceremony with 20 of our closest friends and family with us. The space transformed into a candlelit dinner with our caterer and the team was flawless in execution. We felt like the team made strides to keep us informed and happy! Highly recommend!

Where do I even begin? We got married at the Grain House at the Olde Mill Inn on May 23, 2024, and it was nothing short of perfect. The entire wedding planning process was made easy thanks to everyone at the OldMill Inn and Grain House. They are very responsive, which is crucial when planning a wedding. My grandmother and grandfather had their wedding reception here back in 1957, so I knew I wanted to meet with them to discuss having my wedding there. It was the first and only venue we met with. After going on a tour and discussing the different packages with Lea, I was sold. They take care of your accommodations, catering, bar, cake, tables, chairs, etc. My wedding planning “to-do” list was cut in half! Everyone is so accommodating and they really work with you to make sure your day goes perfectly. So many guests told us how they never experienced wedding food to this level. Everything was DELICIOUS! Better yet, we actually got to eat as the bride and groom. The property itself is gorgeous. John was our Matre d’ and he was the best! He made sure we stayed on time, he ran food from the cocktail hour to me and my husband when we were taking photos, and he coordinated with our vendors so we didn’t have to worry. His efforts did not go unnoticed. Once again I had guests come up to me and tell me how amazing he is. I also had guests reach out after to tell me it was the best wedding they have ever been to. All of our vendors were fantastic but the Old Mill Inn and Grain House really did the bulk of the work to make it an unforgettable experience. The hotel itself was wonderful to stay in, everything was so clean and the breakfast was delicious. I wouldn’t change a thing about my wedding day, everything was perfect and I really have the Old Mill Inn and the Grain House to thank for that. I would recommend the Old Mill Inn and the GrainHouse to anyone planning a wedding. It really is the ONLY choice in my opinion. You will not be disappointed.

Think Secret Garden meets Italian Villa! We also loved the intimate feel of the banquet hall, which was the perfect fit for our wedding size. Our guests loved the food and service. We felt like they went above and beyond to accommodate us and tailor our wedding so it would be perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better venue to hold our wedding. Thank you Bello Giorno!
