How much do wedding bouquets cost?

Wedding bouquets vary in cost by bouquet size, quantity and density of blooms, season, and flower type. Your wedding location and cost of living will also have an impact. In general, you can expect to pay $200–$400 for a larger main bouquet, and $100–$250 for smaller wedding party bouquets. How can we save money on our wedding flowers?

Couples are often surprised by the amount of their budget spent on wedding flowers. Labor and variable wholesale costs add up quickly! To save, avoid anything that needs to be installed day-of and stick to “wear and carry.” This means the florist simply drops off the arrangements (bouquets, boutineers, centerpieces, etc.) at your venue for you to place yourselves. Something like a ceremony arch, by contrast, requires multiple people to set up and take down on site, often with a service charge of up to 40%. Talk openly with your florist about the look you want to achieve, rather than specific flowers you want. They can suggest flower species and options to make your vision happen in a way that fits your budget.

She even worked with our schedule to come meet us at the venue with samples to finalize all the details. A few days before the wedding we ran into a small issue around the Chuppah structure we chose and she made sure to call us right away to explain the situation, and came up with alternative solutions that did not require any additional charge.
