Wedding bouquets vary in cost by bouquet size, quantity and density of blooms, season, and flower type. Your wedding location and cost of living will also have an impact. Couples are often surprised by the amount of their budget spent on wedding flowers. Labor and variable wholesale costs add up quickly! To save, avoid anything that needs to be installed day-of and stick to “wear and carry.” This means the florist simply drops off the arrangements (bouquets, boutineers, centerpieces, etc.) at your venue for you to place yourselves. Something like a ceremony arch, by contrast, requires multiple people to set up and take down on site, often with a service charge of up to 40%. The flowers were still in transit, and no one would help me with rerouting. I called Flower Moxie to see if they could change things on their side as they were the sender. Luis answered the phone and it felt like I finally had someone looking out for me. I had already spent 4 hours on the phone with the shipping companies and gotten nowhere. Luis said he was on it and not to worry. I ordered enough flowers for 18 centerpieces, 70 bud vases, 8 bouquets, and 1 flower arch. Needless to say, it was quite the ordeal to reroute everything. Over the next 48 hours, Luis kept in constant contact with me about the progress of the shipment. I know I was on the phone for at least 6 hours with this ordeal, and I wouldn't be surprised if he had spent about 15 hours talking to UPS, Fedex, florists, and customs to get me my flowers. He made me feel calm and taken care of. Everyone was coming to me with questions and concerns the entire wedding week, and I can't express how it felt to have someone have my back, and take an extremely big tasks off my plate. I would absolutely recommend this company for DIY brides. And I hope this review is seen by Flower Moxie to highlight an outstanding employee with excellent customer service. In an age when it takes time and multiple attempts in order to talk to a person on the phone, I am so appreciative of the effort that was given by Luis for my wedding day. We wanted sustainable flowers and they made sure to not use any floral foam and that the flowers went to good homes after the ceremony, in addition to sourcing the flowers locally like we asked. From the initial phone conversation, she made sure to listen to what we wanted and came back with recommendations that really brought it to life. She ensured that we stayed within the budget parameters we set by providing various options of things we could do but, making sure everything was still of the highest quality. She even worked with our schedule to come meet us at the venue with samples to finalize all the details. A few days before the wedding we ran into a small issue around the Chuppah structure we chose and she made sure to call us right away to explain the situation, and came up with alternative solutions that did not require any additional charge.
