“Brian is one of the best wedding DJs in the business. In the past two years I’ve been to eight different weddings. Brian was the DJ for three of the eight, and the party/reception component of the events was never more fun than when Brian was driving the bus. He is an east coast DJ, but he spun tracks at both of my sister-in-laws’ weddings and as we were searching for a DJ for our own wedding we reached out just to see what he would charge for a wedding in Chicago. Turns out the price was right. Brian traveled to Chicago, MC’d our entire wedding, brought all of the equipment necessary and made our day exceptional in every way. I think there are a few things that really set Brian apart from other wedding DJs. Anyone can stand there and run through a playlist, but Brian went off book a few times to match and capture the energy of the guests. As we were in the midst of the planning process he added zero stress, and just calmly walked us through the process of selecting songs. He had suggestions and recommendations along the way. He even brought an extra speaker so that we could plug our digital piano in and the pianist would be able to play loudly enough. Overall, we can’t recommend Brian highly enough. You will not regret choosing him to DJ at your wedding, party, event. Whatever it is, Brian is a huge value add and a pleasure to work with.”

He was also adaptable without judgement which is sometimes in short supply in the wedding industry but goes a long, long way in my book. For the wedding, we created playlists for the different sections of the wedding, and Kevin knew just how to make our vision come to life --playing the right songs at just the right time and helping the wedding flow seamlessly. He also helped curate the perfect mood for dancing with his light design, and his new Photo Booth add on gave our guests an endless source of enjoyment when they needed to catch their breath off the dance floor. (And even more enjoyment for us when we got to see all the pictures and gifs people took after the wedding!). And if all that wasn't enough already, he even volunteered to take pictures during our sparkler exit and captured one of my favorite pictures of the whole day! If I ever needed to plan a big event again in the future, the choice for DJ is already made.”

Planning a wedding out of state (and in a different time zone) was quite a challenge and when starting the initial search for DJ's, Luis was the only one out of everybody we reached out to that didn't require us to get on a phone call to go over pricing, so that was an automatic green flag off the bat. From the moment we booked Luis, communication was present. I feel like a lot of people I've talked with book their DJ, have one meeting, and see them at the wedding, but that was not our experience with Luis. We had a few meetings, several text chains, and certainly felt the line was always open if we needed something. One of my favorite things was Luis' hype texts the week of as if he was one of our people actually attending the wedding. Luis did everything we wanted at the ceremony and reception in regard to announcements and mic ups. We left Luis in charge of the music selection for the reception and from our personal experience and a few friend's comments, he did a great job with his selection! From the first email to the last song played working with Julian was a pleasure. He was accommodating, kind and very informative. The process of picking out songs, working on the timeline and introductions was very simple and straightforward. Everything we asked for was accommodated, even our special guest singer. Brick Park really brought the fun, so talented, it was more like a concert than a typical wedding. I would highly recommend getting the DJ to spin songs while the band takes a break. There were certain songs we wanted the DJ to play, and it all worked out perfectly. Thank you to Julian and Brick Park Entertainment for a night we will never forget!!!”

“Shawn provided the entertainment for our October 7 wedding and we could not be happier that we hired him! Hiring a DJ can be tricky because it's one vendor you really can't "trial" before your big day. Shawn took away a lot of that stress with a comprehensive questionnaire he had us fill out ahead of the wedding. We also sent him a list of do not play songs and vibe suggestions, but trusted him to read the room to keep the dance floor packed all night. We also really appreciated that Shawn was there to curate an enjoyable vibe -- not to hear himself talk on the microphone all night. He played a great mix of music that was suitable for guests of all ages and backgrounds, yet still felt cohesive when played one after the next. A true professional! Our guests had a blast dancing the night away, and many of them told us how much they loved Shawn's DJing in the days following the wedding!”

“We could rave about DJ Thrilla all day long, but in the words of our wedding guests: “Best dance floor we’ve seen in a long time!” It’s been weeks since our wedding and our guests can’t stop talking about how great the music was. Arthur did a great job with the ceremony and cocktail hour, and managed a tricky parent dance section (multiple sets of parents & timing!) We requested a Taylor Swift mashup and he exceeded expectations and made it the highlight of our night. The dance floor was always packed, and Arthur did a great job of taking into account our requests while playing music everyone would enjoy. We opted to use uplighting as well, which looked beautiful during dinner (we chose a warm lighting) and was so fun for the dance floor with flashing lights. By the end of the night, he even had guests asking him to travel to Texas to DJ their wedding! Booking DJ Thrilla was one of the best vendor decisions we made for our wedding and we could not recommend him more!”

“Let me begin by saying I cant thank you enough for all your help. We had the biggest mess with our Tent company and the team at B_entertained was already our DJ and come to find out they are also a rental company as well. Apparently the original tent company overbooked and they were able to bring a tent, dance floor and all the tables and chairs as well as the linens and napkins. Then the DJ did an amazing job! He was funny and really knew what to play when since we had such a small request list! Everything amazing! Hire them now!”

We were planning a few unconventional things, and he was excited about helping us make it all happen. Music/Dancing was a big deal for me when planning, and he took the time to understand me, my partner, and our guests. On the day of our party, he was the perfect professional, and (again) so kind. Several guests (and our photographer) went out of their way to find me and comment on how good he was in some way—how well mic'ed the ceremony was, how fun the dancing was all night, how creative the cocktail music was, and how cool some of his special touches were. One guest asked me for his contact info, for her friend's upcoming wedding.
