Couples are often surprised by the amount of their budget spent on wedding flowers. Labor and variable wholesale costs add up quickly! To save, avoid anything that needs to be installed day-of and stick to “wear and carry.” This means the florist simply drops off the arrangements (bouquets, boutineers, centerpieces, etc.) at your venue for you to place yourselves. Something like a ceremony arch, by contrast, requires multiple people to set up and take down on site, often with a service charge of up to 40%. I got so many compliments from guests about how gorgeous the flowers were and how the large the roses were. The day of my wedding the weather was horrid for an outside beach wedding. Raining all afternoon and super high winds. We had an arch covered with flowers Sofya worked on. It got ravaged by the wind and rain while we were waiting to see if the rain passed. She stayed at least 3 hours longer to fix the arch and make sure it was gorgeous again for my 20 min ceremony we slipped in between the rain showers. She went above and beyond to help make sure I got my beautiful ceremony flower arch pictures. I could not thank her enough! Run don't walk to book her for not only the breathtakingly beautiful quality of her work but also her dedication to her clients!”
