I can't stress enough the importance of hiring someone like her. Our entire day was magic because of her and her CityLux team. We started out our journey with a clear goal, but it all felt a bit daunting. Allie was with us from start to finish (top to bottom planning and day-of!) and made every step along the way incredible. She was prompt, professional, honest, and kind. It's hard to find vendors that are as "on their game." There were times that we were completely at a loss for what was next and she always communicated with clarity so we felt comfortable and prepared to make decisions. There were sooooo many details only she could have thought of. Just when you think you have it figured out, there are 3 more things Allie was thinking of. I constantly said, "oh wow.. I didnt even think of that." Like coordinating bus routes and timing that out... no thank you! We felt like it was all under control because of her meticulous documentation, flawless communication with our other vendors, and emergency plans she put in motion behind the scenes. MOST importantly, she makes sure you can focus on your day and nothing else. From the napkins, to the placecards, to our grass wall, to our place settings, to the drink signs, and everything else in between, it was all so complete and I wouldn't have changed a thing. Not to mention, she professionally vetoed some of our ideas, and finding someone who knows what's realistic and what's not is hard to find. I've recommended her to ALL my friends and every time I get rave reviews. Don't go it alone throughout this process. Go with Allie and go with CityLux! “Cliona was SO helpful on our big day (5/31/25) as well as the weeks leading up to our wedding! She knew all the questions to ask our venue, catering, and other vendors. She joined our final calls with our venue to make sure we were all on the same page. She helped create a reasonable timeline and made sure we, and our vendors, stayed to it. She also solved any issue that came up on the day of and prioritized making sure we had a great time. She also made sure we had some moments of privacy to ourselves, which was amazing. Cliona was such a calming and reassuring presence throughout our wedding planning and on the day of. We truly can’t recommend her enough! Even when it was pouring rain, and the wind was blowing 30mph right before the ceremony, she had us calm, relaxed, and excited for our outdoor wedding. And she was right, the sun came out just in time! She had our guests and family organized perfectly for the ceremony and processional, so all my husband and I had to do was walk and take in the moment. At the end of the night Cliona and her team made sure all of our belongings, decor, flowers, cake, and gifts made it home, and my husband I were free to jump on the trolley to the afterparty with our friends. priceless!! As soon we officially booked with Kay, we jumped into regular meetings, endless email advice, vendor recommendations- the works! She also took over all communication and confirmations the month of our wedding which was an absolute lifesaver. Planning our wedding alongside Kay are memories we will cherish always. She is as kind and easy to work alongside as she is professional and precise. Her attention to detail and dedication to our wedding vision remained steadfast throughout the 15 months of planning. She answered every question, solved every problem, and anticipated every need with what seemed like effortless ease. As for the wedding day, her and her team were invaluable assets. My wife and I did not have to worry about a SINGLE detail all day, because we knew KNE had it all covered. She wore about a million hats that day, from designer to therapist to organizer to dress steamer to I'm sure a million other things we weren't privy to because keeping our energy light and happy was her biggest priority. I could go on forever. My biggest message that I hope is taken away from this review is that wedding planners are not only for the "rich and famous" as the media likes to make it seem. Wedding planners, specifically KNE is an unbelievable investment in your time, happiness, mental load, and more. Venue, flowers, decor, churches (bring your own priest which is a thing), engagement photos, DJ, wedding party, save the dates, invitations. The list DOES. NOT. STOP. With all of these moving parts it really makes you wonder how such a complex event can happen without the slightest issue and seemingly end before you know it. Well, Liv is our reason. After months of planning, and picking, and choosing, and changing, and scrapping ideas our bandwidth for creativity and follow-through was wearing thin. Liv saved the day. She seamlessly coordinated communications between all parties and vendors to ensure that everyone was on the same page. I will honestly say that without her our day would not have come together like it did. Everyone tells you that something will inevitably go wrong regardless of how thorough your planning. She was so supportive throughout the whole process, answering texts and emails about absolutely everything. On the actual wedding day, I often thought that I didn’t know what we would have done without her. While our venue had a coordinator, they were not nearly as responsive and organized as Christina was. She went above and beyond, offering to bring additional decorations and even showing up the day before to assist with our traditional Vietnamese Tea Ceremony, which was not even on the same day as our official wedding. We had only hired her for her day-of coordination package, but even so, she was a consistent voice and helping hand for us for months leading up to the wedding. I can only imaging if we would have booked her whole wedding planning service, our wedding probably would have somehow been even more perfect than it already was.
