Their knowledge of the island, how the wind blows differently on different sides of our venue, how the light hits perfectly on this side of the venue and we can still get an ocean view — that they care about the power lines and know how to avoid cars in the back of ceremony images. The list just went on and on and on. Working with Eli was like working with a walking encyclopedia of Block Island. And when you're getting married on the island, it's such an asset. Eli helped walk us through other on island vendors, best spots for our engagement sessions, different hotels that might suite certain guests better than others, an amazing casual rehearsal dinner/welcome party idea that was flawless, and I just couldn't be happier. When we got the images though, I didn't know what to say. Eli had captured so much of our story, we felt the same jitters getting ready to walk down the aisle looking through images of moments we didn't. get to experience on our wedding day (we were a little busy, getting married, and you just can't witness everything). Eli was so great with our friends and family, able to choral a few of my drunk groomsmen, while simultaneously making my antsy family members just super at ease and happy. I couldn't be happier in working with Eli and can't wait to see them in future years when we visit.”

“The Spring House was an absolutely spectacular location for our wedding. We were married on the back lawn since it was high season, and then moved to the patio for our reception. Both have unobstructed views of the ocean. Once the ceremony was over, servers were at the ready with our speciality drinks. The cocktail hour food was incredible. Highly recommend the raw bar option, the oysters are shucked to order. Seated dinner was even better. Our guests cannot stop raving about the wedding and the food especially. Tanya, who is the coordinator, is a total gem. She was so patient, answering every single question. I hired a day of coordinator, but Tanya took care of every detail. She was so kind and pivoted easily to accommodate me when I realized that some of our more difficult guests didn't make the correct menu choices. We have been coming to Block Island for many years and we knew we wanted to be married there. The Spring House made everything truly special. Our wedding was perfection. Multiple guests have called to tell us that they felt that it was one of the best weddings they had been to.”

We were planning a wedding at a personal property, meaning we had to supply every single vendor and she handled everything amazingly. She wrangled the vendors prior to the day of and she helped me keep my cool during the stress of the morning. You can tell she's a pro at this! “Joey G is like my cool uncle except he’s got sick DJ skills. He did our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Not only was he professional and organized, but he also brought an incredible energy to our wedding. For the ceremony and cocktail hour, we provided him with a specific music selection, and even though we never rehearsed together, he nailed it perfectly. During the reception, we gave him a playlist, and he struck the perfect balance between sticking to our choices and reading the crowd to keep everyone dancing. One highlight was when Joey G handed the microphone to people in the crowd, turning our reception into an impromptu karaoke party. It was a blast! He was not only fun and engaging but also very attentive to our needs. He asked how to pronounce each name correctly for the toasts, ensuring everything went smoothly. We requested that he not take song requests, and he respected our wishes completely. The sound quality was stellar, and his equipment setup was flawless. Joey G understood our need for clean music as we had many families with young children attending, yet he still kept the atmosphere lively and fun. The dance floor was packed with all 150 guests! Joey G was also a great help with announcements, coordinating toasts, and working with friends and family to announce the newlyweds and photo groups. From the start he was so eager to know exactly what we wanted in our music choices and also how we wanted our wedding to go in general. He was a great communicator with us and the other vendors and SO accommodating during the planning process (even when I made last minute changes to the playlist, he was so on top of it!) The timing of our wedding actually ended up being ahead of schedule, which was absolutely because of his guidance in keeping the schedule moving at the clip it needed to be. This was great because it meant we got more time on the dance floor, which was absolutely my favorite part! Now I'm a bit of a music nerd, so I had very specific songs that I wanted played at specific moments and he delivered that perfectly! “If you’re looking for a photographer look no more. Tati is the one for you! She took our engagement photos and brought my vision to life. Communication is a 10/10, responds almost immediately and is such a nice person. She created a folder solely for our session, and used the inspo pics to pose us and really get the essence of our vibe. Super cool person to work with. Very friendly, and very professional. As for the turn around time, we received a few of our save the date pictures the day after!! Super fast compared to other photographers. Also included some drone pictures, which were some of the best shots. I definitely recommend to anyone. If I wasn’t having a destination wedding, Tati would be my photographer.
