“It's hard to find the words to sufficiently capture how vital Olivia was to our wedding. While we had hired most of our vendors before deciding to hire Olivia as a day of coordinator about 3 months before our wedding, we had only the vaguest of a sketch about how our wedding day would work. Olivia immediately worked with us and developed a detailed draft of the schedule. She then proceeded to hold several planning meetings with us, and our vendors as well as an on-site visit at our venue with us about a month and a half before our wedding. We built in several custom parts of our wedding including some Hindu customs that required reworking and updating our timeline several times. Olivia handled all of this with incredible grace. During our rehearsal Olivia cleared things up for our wedding party and made sure that we were all on the same page. Despite many of our party members showing up late, she still got the important points through to everyone and made sure that there was no confusion the day of. For our wedding Olivia was on the scene working early to coordinate setup at two different venues, and was also running things over from our hotel, while maintaining contact with everyone. She made sure that we all were in place with plenty of time to spare and this enabled us to really maximize our time with the photographer and videographer. After the ceremony she made sure that folks found their way to the cocktail hour and reception. Since we had to spend most of the cocktail hour taking photos and changing we didn't really have time to enjoy our appetizers, but thankfully Olivia made sure to give us some time alone to sample them in a private room before our grand entrance. At the reception Olivia worked with our DJ to keep the event running on time, making sure the toast makers were in place and ready to go. She also managed putting out our thank you gift bags and setting aside our cards from guests. We had an amazing time dancing and eating, and were able to trust that Olivia was keeping things running as we enjoyed ourselves. I can't stress how important it was for us to hire Olivia as our coordinator. She was unflappable and made sure that we kept our focus on ourselves, and our friends and family. We managed our own rehearsal dinner and I can tell you from first-hand experience that the day of our wedding with Olivia in charge was so much less stressful and much more fun. I would highly recommend Olivia to anyone having a wedding in the Chicago area!”

“I found Alexa on the Knot and booked her for Monarch’s full wedding planning package as my husband & I were planning a wedding outside of Chicago in an unconventional venue, 9 months away, and lived in another state. It was a big challenge but from the initial consultation, we loved Alexa’s energy, organization, commitment and just knew we could trust her with our once in a lifetime event. The planning process was extremely organized, thorough and well-paced. She matched my attention to detail, tackled unplanned challenges with ferocity (which included a limited selection of vendors given the location of our venue) and was as dedicated to bringing my very specific vision to life as I was. She brought great vendor recommendations and connections and did countless hours of research on new vendors. Details were well-documented and thoroughly discussed to ensure all parties were aligned. “Bellazevents LLC and the owner Veneisha, was an outstanding decorator, florist, day of Cordinator, and caterer that went above and beyond to make our special day perfect. From the very beginning, her communication was proactive, responsive, persistent, and thorough. Our day-of coordinator, Veneisha, created a detailed timeline over a month in advance and seamlessly coordinated with all of our vendors to ensure everything ran smoothly. On the day of, Veneisha put out our dance floor props, cut our extra wedding cake, brought in our late night food and cleaned up the venue to make sure we weren't charged any extra fees. We went with The Bud package (30 days of planning). My main concern was coordinating and communicating with vendors the last 30 days and all of the day of coordination. I am a project manager so I thought I had everything set, but she was so helpful in highlighting the little things that we had forgotten to plan or think through, such as when do we want to have our first dance and parent dances, or how much to tip each vendor. Being able to rely on someone with industry knowledge alleviated a lot my stress. The detailed timeline she created was wonderful for our vendors and I didn't have to communicate with anyone. This allowed me to fully enjoy the day. Pauline and Priscilla's detailed work and smooth set-up ensured our reception space looked beautifully curated, with a perfect blend of DIY and venue-provided elements. Their willingness to help out blew me away, We had a large smilax hanging installation to complete...and lets just say that it took us a bit longer than anticipated. Janella and her team worked with us and not against us, to ensure that everything was perfect for our couple :) Not only did they support the couple all day and do lots of set up, they also helped direct and assist other vendors to ensure that everything was complete before their first look in the reception space. “As an Entertainment Director/Event Manager myself, I’m blown away by Franklin. It was important for me to hire someone I could trust to handle the organization for my wedding day. After our first meeting with Franklin, I knew he understood what we wanted. I was thrilled to know he was available for our wedding, and I feel like we couldn’t have made a better choice. Before the wedding day, I was so relieved when Franklin came over to pick up all the decor. He even stopped by on the morning of the wedding to check on us and pick up any last-minute items. This alone really touched me because many people don’t go that extra mile, but Franklin does! I was seriously stressing about how to get those items delivered, and Franklin came right along and eased all that stress! He took our ideas and exceeded our expectations. We are Funko Pop collectors, so we wanted a fun way to incorporate them into our wedding decor, and he did it with ease. He surprised us several times throughout the event, and those memories are some of my favorite moments. When he revealed the reception dining room, which he had decorated for us, I was filled with chills. I couldn’t believe he took my simple idea and made it look so GRAND; it was next level. Then we walked over to the cookie and cake table, where I was seriously at a loss for words. I was blown away by the details he displayed in his decorating. It seemed like a scene from a movie. Before walking down the aisle, we learned that one of our food caterers was extremely late delivering the food and potentially wasn’t going to deliver it at all. Franklin was calm but still urgent in his demeanor, and I totally appreciated his proactive professionalism. Moments like these can really test any event coordinator's patience and could cause a domino effect. I don’t know exactly what happened or what he did, but all the food was there and ready to be served when it was time to eat. Our guests LOVED our wedding. They all mentioned how different and elevated our wedding was, and I’m 100% sure that had a lot to do with Franklin’s hard work. We wanted something unique, and he delivered. Overall, I’m truly grateful to have met Franklin and want to also shine some light on his assistant, Will. Both of their A, fun, efficacious attitudes just make everything better. I was able to kick back and watch my wedding day unfold beautifully. For those who work in events/entertainment, you know how hard it is to go to any event and not feel like you’re working, especially your own event (lol). Franklin is a star, and I’m sure he’s going to go far in the event business. He understands the importance of an event and how each event is personally unique. Most importantly, he takes the time to know and understand his clients.”
