Caprice Strings began performing at US Grant Hotel in downtown SD as a featured group to perform for their daily luncheons. Our name was inspired by the asst Mgr. CAPRICE, who would be delighted by our music and gave us special requests. We have performed concerts at the Downtown library, thousands at the Viejas arena for Ashford University & we also provide music for UCSD events. But our true passion is to perform for love!! Under 50 people fit this space best. You will have access to 1 farm table, lounge area, a full-sized bar built into the space for your use with space rental. We have no restrictions on food or catering giving you the freedom to plan the event that is perfect for you! Our rental rate is $135/hr or $1795 for all day access (8a-12a). We have 4 dining tables and 45 chairs that can be included for an additional $150 (these are included on the all day $1795 package).

I've been djing since I was 15 years old. I had a fascination for parties and events at an early age. I tagged along with my brother who dj'd at house parties back in the early 80's. I was hooked after seeing how much joy the music brought out in the crowd. I started buying my own 12" records, and it evolved into doing my own gigs: house parties, jr. high & high school dances, colleges, raves, underground parties, night clubs, weddings, corporate events, and so on. I started my DJ business in 1987, and have been honing my craft now for 3 decades. Thirty plus years later, I continue to love what I do. Now let's get the party started.
