The Anthony Wayne House, also known as Waynesborough, is maintained by The Philadelphia Society for the Preservation of Landmarks, a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of unique historic sites and the creation of related educational and cultural programming. When you rent the Anthony Wayne House for your special event, a portion of proceeds goes towards maintaining the historic house and its collections, preserving the building and its surrounding properties for the education and enjoyment of the public.

If you are seeking an exquisite garden setting you’ve arrived at the right place! There are 3 components to the rental of Appleford: you have the use of the inside of the estate, use of the tented terrace, and access to the gardens. Your wedding can take place both inside and outside of the house, with the seating for your reception taking place under the tented terrace overlooking the gardens. You and your guests are welcome to roam the gardens and take pictures in the alee of trees, boxwoods, roses garden, walled garden, and private medallion garden. A pond, small waterfall, and landscaped entrance in front of the home is the ideal setting for your onsite ceremony. Appleford works with 8 exclusive caterers and is BYOB. Clients are welcome to select a florist, photographer, videographer, and other vendors. Tyler Arboretum is a gorgeous expanse of pristine woodlands, wildflower meadows, winding stream valleys, and butterfly-filled gardens nestled into the green rolling hills just 30 minutes west of Philadelphia.
