“DJ Brandon was top tier. Seriously. I could not recommend him enough. We communicated with him over email and just once over FaceTime and he just absolutely nailed everything the day of. He was so dialed in with the music, he would literally be changing the keys of the songs to seamlessly flow into the next song and he never let a song play for too long. We had so many people on the dance floor and I was so shocked at just how many of my guests weeks later just continue to gush over how good he was. Also, even after my husband and I did our exit I heard there was a ton of people who got back on the dance floor which is exactly what we would have wanted! I literally never write reviews but I was compelled to write this because he was just THAT GOOD. Kind, hardworking, communicated well but didn't need too much from us the day of which is super helpful. Anytime I needed a quick change he was on it. He listens and his ability to read the room is unmatched. He also just always kept the energy up so much. If you ever need a DJ, please go with Brandon and Prestige. I wasn't sure how it would go but our wedding was nearly perfect in part because of Brandon. I am so thankful.”

“I honestly thought the vision of an outdoor winter wedding was going to continue to just be a dream. So many people told us we were crazy and “good luck” because why on earth would we get married outside in the cold. It wasn’t until I brought this idea up to the Holly vault, and they immediately said “let’s do it!” The staff at this venue were out there until minutes before the ceremony blowing off snow from the chairs, putting salt down, and cranking the heat lamps. A huge shoutout to my coordinator Sam, and all the staff at this venue who worked their butts off to make this happen for us. Every single coordinator, server, bartender, and staff member at this venue worked so hard to make our day/night so special. Monica was an absolute lifesaver with my wedding planning, and I would not have been able to do it without her. As a bride in the middle of grad school out of state and working... you can imagine how hectic my schedule was. AND I was getting married during the Christmas season... talk about an insane time! Monica was incredibly patient with me and my responses, as well as the fact that I hardly had anything planned when it came to my decor leading into the week of my wedding due to those circumstances. “Where to begin? Finding Katy was truly one of the biggest blessings of our wedding process. It was very important to find a photographer who we felt had, and actively displayed, the ability to photograph in an inclusive, respectful and honest manner. We are an interfaith couple with family and friends who fall everywhere along the social, identity and religious spectrum. Once we found Katy, we were blown away by the love, care and diversity showcased in her portfolio. Upon meeting with her virtually, we were convinced that she was the right person. Katy is kind, understanding and VERY good at what she does. When it comes to the work, Katy was proactive without being pushy and really took to heart what we wanted out of our photos. Over the course of the experience, we were able to develop a real friendship with her because she is that good of a person. The day of the event, Katy was locked in and on top of everything. Prior to our weekend, she had done an amazing job of giving us prep sheets and coordinating as much detail as possible so the big day could just glide. Katy and her second shooter Jen (who was amazing, too!) were professional, fun and didn't miss a moment of the day. Everything from planned photos to impromptu shots felt fun and natural. Getting back the album completely blew past our expectations. Every photo captured exactly what we had discussed with her. So many photographs left us speechless. Katy should be at the top of your list if you want great photos full of love, care, and magic. She is down to earth and was the only photographer we spoke to that didn't make us feel like we were just another gig for them.”

I’m Julia - people always ask me how long I’ve been a photographer for and the cliché (but true) answer is for forever. I’ve walked through many alleys that led me to photographing weddings. I worked for the Field Museum photographing meteorites during my college years in Chicago, then worked as a freelancer in the automotive industry when I moved back to Michigan, and worked in a studio photographing everything from seniors to pets. It wasn’t until 5 years ago I decided I loved photographing weddings and couples. I feel like they’re all connected somehow. I'm lucky I found my niche and even luckier that I got to run with it.

We can not stress enough how much Julia impacted our wedding day. First, she has your back. She helped us keep calm and keep our timeline on track. Julia had a great sense of reading the room. She was by our side when we needed her. Second, we had a BLAST! Julia kept our energy UP (she's a Leo, if you know you know). She had both of us laughing, smiling, and overall happy. Even our bridal party and family LOVED Julia's professionalism and how she conducts group photos. My bridesmaids were obsessed with her and plan on using her in the future. She's seriously that good. Third, her photography style was exactly what we needed. She is super knowledgeable about poses, lighting, background, etc. She was honest and explained why she had us do certain pictures. She took into account any preferences we had (standing on the left side rather than the right, mobility concerns, etc). Also, be ready to get creative! After the trial, I decided I wanted a little more glam before the big day and she took my original trial look and escalated it to the exact glam I wanted on the big day. Also have to give her a little shoutout for keeping me calm because as soon as I sat in her chair on the big day, I really felt the bridal moment and got a bit emotional.
