“I worked with Studio 9 Salon for my wedding hair and makeup, which was recommended by my officiant/planner, Julie. I can see why she recommended them, because they did an amazing job! Although I did not have a wedding party, I have some close friends and family also get their hair and/or makeup done. We had different stylists work with us so that we could finish within our 2-hour appointment slot (we did). Since we had an appointment in the salon, they allowed us to arrive a little early and enjoy some juice and pastries in their room upstairs. I believe I worked with Crystal (my apologies if I am misremembering your name) for my hair and makeup. I did a bridal updo and airbrushed makeup. Crystal was outstanding! I showed her some pictures to reference the type of style I wanted (hair: Bohemian; makeup: natural/romantic), and she did not disappoint. I was so incredibly pleased with both my hair and makeup. The style was exactly what I wanted – even more impressive since I did not do a trial. Thank you for making me feel beautiful on this special day!”

“Melissa was everything we could have wanted from a photographer and more! She is kind, knowledgeable, steadfast, professional, friendly, helpful, proactive, insistent, flexible, joyful, and all around fantastic! Her portfolio can speak for itself, I mean just look at those shots! They are timeless and capture the essence of each couple perfectly. What really drew us to Melissa though, was her unique ability to capture the candid moments. Looking through our gallery, there were of course the fantastic formal photos and more guided shots, but my absolute favorites were all of the other shots, the in the moment shots. She does a great job of capturing people in their best light, even when they’re not posing. Based on how flawless our engagement shoot with her went and how stressed I (the bride) was on the day of our wedding, we were a little nervous about the pictures. The engagement shoot was so smooth and we vibed together so well. The wedding day was very overwhelming and we both were worried that it would show on our faces. But every time Melissa was around (which was often thank goodness!), we were both immediately more calm. We had to pause looking through the gallery because they were too good and we were crying too much.   We cannot recommend Melissa more! She is top of the line, folks!!!!! “DJ Brandon was top tier. Seriously. I could not recommend him enough. We communicated with him over email and just once over FaceTime and he just absolutely nailed everything the day of. He was so dialed in with the music, he would literally be changing the keys of the songs to seamlessly flow into the next song and he never let a song play for too long. We had so many people on the dance floor and I was so shocked at just how many of my guests weeks later just continue to gush over how good he was. Also, even after my husband and I did our exit I heard there was a ton of people who got back on the dance floor which is exactly what we would have wanted! I literally never write reviews but I was compelled to write this because he was just THAT GOOD. Kind, hardworking, communicated well but didn't need too much from us the day of which is super helpful. Anytime I needed a quick change he was on it. He listens and his ability to read the room is unmatched. He also just always kept the energy up so much. If you ever need a DJ, please go with Brandon and Prestige. I wasn't sure how it would go but our wedding was nearly perfect in part because of Brandon. I am so thankful.”

“Venue One Eleven was everything we envisioned and more. The food was AMAZING. We had so many compliments on the food. Highly recommend the salmon & short rib. The venue itself was so spacious & beautiful. It’s pre-decorated which made our lives so much easier and saved us a lot of money in the long run. The courtyard is filled with flowers & was a good place to step away from the dance floor for some fresh air. The stage was perfect for our band & made it feel like we were at a concert! We rented the townhouse about 10 steps across the road from the venue for our wedding parties. It was AMAZING to be so close to the venue for the entire weekend & it is decorated SO cute. It sleeps about 16 guests so our wedding parties didn’t have to worry about driving the night of the wedding & my bridesmaids & I used the top floor to get ready together the morning of. Our coordinator, Alisa, was the biggest blessing we could have asked for. That woman went above and beyond to make our lives as easy as possible. She has worked with many vendors in the area in the past so it made planning the day of timeline much easier for us! Wedding planning can be stressful & expensive, but Alisa managed every stressor & helped to save us money too. We trusted her completely & welcomed any & all of her advice.”

We loved that we were able to plan our night with our online planner, then about a week before our reception with talked with DJ Shortstop (Vinny) on the phone and he made sure that he really got a feel for how we wanted everything that night! Not only was DJ Shortstop our DJ that night (and did an AMAZING JOB!!) but when I was super nervous before coming out, he calmed my nerves. I HIGHLY recommend this company, you can tell they have been around for a while and that the DJ's are super happy with their job! Their playlist was out of this world! The DJ also helped us with selecting "must play" songs and gave us tips on how we should roll out some of the songs (dad/daughter dance, etc.). We will definitely use them again!”

“Where to begin? Finding Katy was truly one of the biggest blessings of our wedding process. It was very important to find a photographer who we felt had, and actively displayed, the ability to photograph in an inclusive, respectful and honest manner. We are an interfaith couple with family and friends who fall everywhere along the social, identity and religious spectrum. Once we found Katy, we were blown away by the love, care and diversity showcased in her portfolio. Upon meeting with her virtually, we were convinced that she was the right person. Katy is kind, understanding and VERY good at what she does. When it comes to the work, Katy was proactive without being pushy and really took to heart what we wanted out of our photos. Over the course of the experience, we were able to develop a real friendship with her because she is that good of a person. The day of the event, Katy was locked in and on top of everything. Prior to our weekend, she had done an amazing job of giving us prep sheets and coordinating as much detail as possible so the big day could just glide. Katy and her second shooter Jen (who was amazing, too!) were professional, fun and didn't miss a moment of the day. Everything from planned photos to impromptu shots felt fun and natural. Getting back the album completely blew past our expectations. Every photo captured exactly what we had discussed with her. So many photographs left us speechless. Katy should be at the top of your list if you want great photos full of love, care, and magic. She is down to earth and was the only photographer we spoke to that didn't make us feel like we were just another gig for them.”
