“DJ Brandon was top tier. Seriously. I could not recommend him enough. We communicated with him over email and just once over FaceTime and he just absolutely nailed everything the day of. He was so dialed in with the music, he would literally be changing the keys of the songs to seamlessly flow into the next song and he never let a song play for too long. We had so many people on the dance floor and I was so shocked at just how many of my guests weeks later just continue to gush over how good he was. Also, even after my husband and I did our exit I heard there was a ton of people who got back on the dance floor which is exactly what we would have wanted! I literally never write reviews but I was compelled to write this because he was just THAT GOOD. Kind, hardworking, communicated well but didn't need too much from us the day of which is super helpful. Anytime I needed a quick change he was on it. He listens and his ability to read the room is unmatched. He also just always kept the energy up so much. If you ever need a DJ, please go with Brandon and Prestige. Alisa is the best of the best and thought about every detail that I would never have thought about. She made our day memorable and seamless from start to finish. Katy is kind, understanding and VERY good at what she does. When it comes to the work, Katy was proactive without being pushy and really took to heart what we wanted out of our photos. Over the course of the experience, we were able to develop a real friendship with her because she is that good of a person. The day of the event, Katy was locked in and on top of everything. Prior to our weekend, she had done an amazing job of giving us prep sheets and coordinating as much detail as possible so the big day could just glide. Katy and her second shooter Jen (who was amazing, too!) were professional, fun and didn't miss a moment of the day. Everything from planned photos to impromptu shots felt fun and natural. Getting back the album completely blew past our expectations. Every photo captured exactly what we had discussed with her. So many photographs left us speechless. Katy should be at the top of your list if you want great photos full of love, care, and magic. Other places to us seemed that it was just another shoot for them and a weekend project, with Shuhrat she genuinely cared about our day and photos. She made it so easy to work with and cared about every pose and every photo we took throughout the day. I’m Julia - people always ask me how long I’ve been a photographer for and the cliché (but true) answer is for forever. I’ve walked through many alleys that led me to photographing weddings. I worked for the Field Museum photographing meteorites during my college years in Chicago, then worked as a freelancer in the automotive industry when I moved back to Michigan, and worked in a studio photographing everything from seniors to pets. She was by our side when we needed her. Second, we had a BLAST! Julia kept our energy UP (she's a Leo, if you know you know). She had both of us laughing, smiling, and overall happy. Even our bridal party and family LOVED Julia's professionalism and how she conducts group photos. My bridesmaids were obsessed with her and plan on using her in the future. She's seriously that good.
