The Villa is absolutely stunning. We had our ceremony in the garden and reception in the tent. It was the most perfect day we could have imagined! Ellen was our event producer - she was absolutely wonderful! She had great ideas and eased our worries. She was always prompt with replies, and very organized. Thank you for all your help and assistance through the planning process. Lauren was our bridal attendant and she was wonderful- very attentive, our entire bridal party never had an empty cup! Our guests loved the food and the bartenders! The grounds are absolutely beautiful. The fire place was also a big hit. Don’t hesitate to book the villa it was the best choice!

We hosted a baby shower for my son & daughter-in-law and were very happy with the event. The room has windows on two sides so it was very bright and the golf course provides a perfect back-drop for our decor. The food was great and the service was outstanding. Everyone was very friendly and quick to meet the needs of our guests.

We got married at the Red Barn in June 2025 and can't say enough good things about the wedding and the Red Barn staff. At every interaction, they went above and beyond for us. The venue is absolutely stunning and I loved that there were so many options for taking photos. We also stayed at the Stage House Inn and did our rehearsal lunch there, which made the whole experience easy and seamless for ourselves and guests. One thing future bride/grooms will understand is how overwhelming starting wedding planning can be, and how hard it is to figure out pricing for all your vendors. I've heard horror stories from girlfriends on hidden fees and surprise costs. The Red Barn was so transparent on costs from the start, which was a huge differentiator for me. We worked with Alex and Colleen and they were both fantastic- so organized and communicative. As someone who didn't have a dedicated planner, it was invaluable to have Colleen available to help plan our day. Colleen was on top of my 10,000 emailed questions and put me at ease in the days leading up to the wedding. Everything went so well, our guests had a great time and we owe that to the Red Barn and the staff! Big shout out to Moe as well who made sure the groom and I were well fed and always had a cocktail in hand (and a smile on our faces!). Thank you to everyone at the Red Barn who made our day so magical!

We are a homeowner's association with a rental facility known as The Grange, which is located 30 minutes between Denver and Colorado Springs. Opened in 2004, The Grange seamlessly blends rustic charm with contemporary amenities. Central aspects include natural light, grand ceilings, a bar and prep kitchen, a covered patio with heating capabilities, and a perimeter of garage doors for a free-flowing indoor/outdoor concept. Renting with us is “DIY” - We provide the venue, plus some amenities, and you bring it to life (no required vendors). Please note we are NOT an all-inclusive venue and our rates are HOURLY. THE GOOD STUFF The Grange fit our needs really well for a 50 person baby shower. With the setup we chose, the room felt full but not crowded and allowed for ample room for people to move around. The fireplace added a nice atmosphere without making the room hot. The bathrooms and space were clean when we arrived. The Grange offers several table options which made it super easy for us to setup a kids zone, silent trivia area, and guest tables. Given that tables and chairs are included in the rental fee, it is fairly priced. A FEW BUMMERS While we wanted to have the garage doors open for an open-air feeling, it seemed that even the smallest bit of wind would knock over all of our decorations. Because we couldn't have the garage doors open, we did confine everything to indoors which changed our plans a bit with outdoor yard games as it wasn't super intuitive to go outside to the covered patio. We also would have liked to have been asked about the signage The Grange put outside. We had a co-ed baby shower but when we pulled up, the sign only listed the mother-to-be's name. Not a huge deal, but definitely could have been avoided. IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS A few things to note that may be important to you: 1. All setup, teardown, and cleaning is YOUR responsibility. So, if you don't want to haul tables and chairs, take out the trash, and mop the floor, this venue is not for you. (Note: We were made well aware of this prior to booking so it isn't a surprise but definitely a big consideration as it cuts into your rental time.) 2. The microphone works well for the main room but is very difficult to hear in the "back area" where the restrooms and food counters are. 3. When working on your budget, be sure to factor in the cost of getting event insurance as this is required and is an additional cost. (Again, we were made aware of this in advance so it wasn't a surprise.) 4. No table coverings/linens/tablecloths are provided so be sure you factor this into planning and your budget.

Candlewood Inn fully exceeded our expectations for our wedding day. Because of them and the staff our day ran so smoothly and we were able to just enjoy ourselves. From the beginning of the planning process they were clear with all information needed, dates for planning/deadlines and easy to communicate with. We really enjoyed the way they did the group tasting as it allowed us to see the spaced with an event happening along with tasting the food, which is delicious. We loved the food on our day from the passed apps, to the stations and entrees and our guests agreed - we got SO many compliments on the food. We were happy with working with Candlewood Inn but once our wedding day actually came around we were blown away. From the second we walked into the venue the Krista and our bridal attendants were two steps ahead of us doing everything we needed to be comfortable and fully enjoy ourselves. We were never without a drink in our hands and they made sure we had all the food we needed. They kept track of my bouquet and helped me with my dress - even fixing/pinning my bustle when it broke! They wrangled our large bridal party and had the ceremony run so smoothly. I could go on and on about how amazing the staff was. I could not recommend Candlewood Inn enough!

As soon as we arrived, we were so glad that we had chosen Milton Ridge and knew that we had made the right choice. All of the staff were very welcoming and helpful. They were with us through every step of our wedding day with lots of support and smiles. The cottage for getting ready is very cute, the chapel is beautiful, and the reception hall is great as well. They have many services included in their various wedding packages like catering, DJ, photographer, and cake. They also have outside vendors that they work with frequently, such as hair and make-up and a florist, who are all wonderful. They are inclusive, and they are supportive of LGBT weddings. My now wife and I are part of the LGBT community, and we were treated very well by the entire team. We were able to have our wedding exactly how we wanted, and they worked with us on every detail. On the day, they had the entire day scheduled and kept us on track, which is actually so necessary and helpful on a day when you're trying to do so many things. We got married in April here and it was amazing! The venue is beautiful and there is a lot of space. My planner, Madison, was very helpful during the process and would answer any questions I had. Our coordinators Janeen and Jackie were awesome! They helped make the day flow perfectly and if we needed anything they were on top of it! The DJ was great as well and was included in the package. The only compliant I have was that they ran out of food even though less people showed up then in our final guest count. We got the steak option and it was delicious but the portions they gave out were small and they somehow still ran out...

Such an amazing experience working with Wedgewood weddings. I love that they have many different venue options to fit every couple's price point and that it is an all inclusive option. The only things not included were the dress/tux (obviously) and any photography or videography. We however ended up spending a bit more on flowers as we didn't realize that the bouquet and flowers for the bridal party were not included (only table centerpieces) but compared to other florists in the area, their vendor still had the best prices. The process of the planning was pretty seamless. Whenever I had a question or needed help, I was able to reach out to the venue and get the answers or help needed. The day of my wedding was absolutely perfect. Not a single thing went wrong and I couldn't be more grateful for my two wedding coordinators that day (the evening coordinator had a different title but can't remember what it was) but they were both so helpful, kind and attentive. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding day and/or experience!

Our experience at Bartlett Hills was amazing! Evan is fantastic to work with, and made everything so easy on us! He set up and took down all of our decorations, coordinated with everyone; it all felt so easy! All of our guests had such high praise for the venue and the organization, but especially the food! All of our guests have raved about the food since the wedding day and were very happy with the quality! The cake provided through the venue was delicious and beautiful, and we were very happy with how it turned out. Our fresh florals were also beautiful! Overall, we had an amazing time, and couldn't recommend Bartlett Hills enough. Very affordable, lots included, and just made everything so easy for us.

Our wedding on 9/10/24 exceeded all of our expectations! The sales/planning team was wonderful and always efficient with return communication. The day of, Bianca was attentive to our needs and made us feel more comfortable. It was special having her there as she was the team member who gave us our original tour. Event captain Rachel made sure everything went smoothly into the night, and helped us with anything we needed! The facility is beautiful. The food was the best wedding food we have ever had! We all loved the pesto tortellini. Our guests raved about it. Our bartender- Maliek was entertaining and always on top of things. No one waited for their drinks and he had many orders memorized! Our florals from ACS were nothing short of amazing. They were very unique. We gave them an idea and they did a better job than we could have imagined. Our wedding cake from Freed’s Bakery was delicious. They were easy to work with over the phone with our specific requests. The photo booth was a hit all night with our guests. Overall, we had the most perfect day and would recommend Wedgewood Stallion Mountain to anyone who wants a stress free Vegas wedding!

I would highly recommend The Village Club at Lake Success to anyone! Our wedding was absolutely amazing. Barry & Amy were such an incredible team to work with. Barry will answer your questions very quickly and is so helpful throughout the entire process! Amy is great the day of the wedding to make sure the bride has everything she needs and that everything is running smoothly. They are so wonderful. They will work through any last minute issues with you! For example, we decided to move the ceremony from outside to inside because of the weather (pretty last minute) and Barry was very accommodating with his staff to make the move very seamless. He even put the Chuppah inside the ballroom to make the room even more special and beautiful than I ever could have imagined! The food is also AMAZING - we got so many compliments on the food from our friends and family. The ballroom is just a beautiful room and with the view of the lake, it's really an amazing venue. We cannot recommend Barry & Amy enough and this venue, and would tell everyone to get married here!

Where do I begin?! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, and much of that is due to Skyler, Alexis and their incredible team at the Wenbeck, and the beautiful venue itself. Their Team was professional and always made sure that my husband and I were taken care of throughout the night and never had to worry about a single thing. Before the ceremony, John and Skyler were readily available to drive the bridal party around in the golf cart to different parts of the venue for photo ops. They made sure we were on schedule, and helped with guest arrival. We were lucky to have absolutely perfect weather on our wedding day, so we could utilize the gorgeous ceremony space between the beautiful new pavilion and the water. It was such a beautiful setting for our nuptials. The newly built pavilion was also used for guests to enter through and grab a glass of champagne from the Wenbeck’s adorable champagne cart. I mean what is better than a welcome glass of champagne?! Our guests LOVED the mini golf during cocktail hour and into the night. Everyone also took advantage of the spacious balcony on the back of the reception area to watch the most gorgeous sunset! The Wenbeck team members were there with us during our planning process right off the bat with their vendor recommendations - all of which turned out to be wonderful to work with. Their Team provided recommendations on our ceremony and reception layouts, which made it so smooth for guests to experience different aspects, from the Photo Booth, our Polaroid guest book/flower wall, etc. I cannot thank the team at Wenbeck enough for making our day absolutely perfect, and I cannot recommend the Wenbeck enough!!!

My husband and I got married at Legacy Golf Club back on November 17, 2023. Let me tell you that friends and family STILL talk about our wedding to this day about how beautiful, perfect, and unique it was. The venue really made the wedding just perfect from the amazing Special Events Coordinator, Shatara Jones, to the great food, the coordination of all of the vendors and the two venues we selected. We married at the Sierra Vista Lawn and had our reception at the cart pad under the twinkling lights. We had a firework show, a live band, mariachi, photo booth, and DJ. This venue can have it all and still give you an intimate family union feel to it. Shatara was just everything you would need to plan the perfect day. She provided lists of vendors and was very communicative and helpful at all times. I explained my vision and the staff brought it to life. Planning our wedding here was super low stress and turned out memorable and beautiful. I can't wait until a family member marries so we can have another wedding here! Recommend 100%.

Jack and I could not have imagined a better venue for our wedding than The Club at Glenmore in Keswick, Virginia. Growing up in Charlottesville, I knew that I wanted to get married in my hometown. Wineries are a popular choice in Charlottesville, but they are mostly located in the surrounding counties which require a long drive from hotels. Winery weddings can also require coordinating a lot of rentals (decor, tables, chairs, etc.) and finding a caterer. After researching all of the venues around Charlottesville, we chose The Club at Glenmore or many reasons. One, the beautiful and convenient location. Glenmore was conveniently located only about 10 minutes from our hotel block on Pantops which made it easy for guests and shuttles. Even though the location is close to town, it is situated inside a beautiful gated neighborhood with views of the mountains, rolling horse pastures, and well maintained golf course. So it feels like it's out in the country without actually being that far away from town! Two, the full service. Glenmore provides so much for its couples! It has an amazing on-site chef so we did not need to find a separate catering company. This was one of our main deciding factors! Couples even do the food & wine tasting at the venue which makes for a fun day trip :) Glenmore provides all of the ceremony chairs, reception chairs, tables, glassware, serving ware, flatware, etc. So we did not need to rent anything except purchase some decorations. Speaking of decorations, Glenmore has many decor pieces that we were able to use! They have arbors, prosecco walls, a boxwood wall for photo opps, votive candle and holders, charger plates, up-lights, bistro lights, etc. Three, the amenities. Getting ready spaces, ceremony locations, cocktail terrace, reception ballroom - Glenmore has it all! Glenmore has a beautiful bridal suite that the ladies in my bridal party were able to use all morning. The bridal suite has plenty of room to get ready in, hang dresses in, store decor in, and even take pictures in. There is a separate space downstairs where the guys can get ready in too! We all enjoyed spending the morning and early afternoon together in these spaces while eating breakfast and lunch prepared for by Glenmore! The space was also convenient for our vendors too. They could come and check in with me throughout the morning since I was getting ready on-site. There are many ceremony locations to choose from if you want your ceremony at Glenmore. We actually switched our ceremony location within about 2 weeks of the wedding and Glenmore was very accommodating with this switch. Finally, the beautiful ballroom was another major deciding factor for us. We had our wedding in the summer, so we knew we wanted to have the reception indoors in an air conditioned room. Four, the staff. Glenmore takes pride in providing top notch service to its clients. Kim, the event coordinator at Glenmore, helped us so much from start to finish. She walked us through the wedding process, answered the many questions we had, worked with all of our vendors, met with us for our tasting and walkthroughs, made sure that all of our requests were met, and coordinated the entire Glenmore team on our wedding day. How much do wedding & reception venues cost?

The cost of wedding venues varies, with factors influencing cost including size, location, guest count, and, most importantly, whether things like catering and rentals are included. The more a reception venue near you includes, the higher the cost. When considering venues, try to compare prices apples-to-apples. If one venue includes catering and rentals in their pricing and the other doesn’t, you need to figure out how much additional cost those outside vendors would be to make a true comparison. Before booking, be sure you’re aware of additional costs outlined in your contract, like parking fees and weather-related considerations (adding a tent, etc.).

What questions should we ask wedding venues?

When talking with a potential venue, always ask about 1) their availability and 2) their capacity. Some popular venues book up peak season Saturdays nearly 2 years in advance—if your first choice date isn’t available, consider your flexibility on day of the week and year. While maximum capacity is non-negotiable, venues might have guidance on what guest count will be most comfortable. Also, you’ll want to understand what is and is not included in the venue’s fees. Some include catering, tables and chairs, and linens, while others offer just the raw space. These venues are often less expensive because you are only paying for the space itself, and you’ll have to bring in outside vendors
