The day before, and the day of our wedding went so smoothly thanks to her and her assistant Rachel. We were so grateful for her expertise and support – she did so much for us on the day of the wedding, and I’m certain she was doing things behind the scenes that we didn’t even know about that kept everyone and everything running perfectly, and on time. We confirmed our date with Elizabeth 9 months out, found and signed contracts with the rest of our vendors, and then started communicating with her again a few months out. She helped us with our timeline, got us thinking about quite a few things we hadn’t thought of, and then a few weeks before the wedding, we had a seamless handover. She helped our vision come to life, was very calming and kind, had great communication with the rest of our vendors, and we can’t recommend her enough.

And on the day-of she put out sooo many fires- unexpected guests showing up, adding an extra reception table, grabbing the vows that I forgot in the car last minute, coordinating with all the vendors. 2 Friends Events was established in 2010 by...2 Friends! Lindsey and I met as co-maids of honor in our friend Wendi's wedding. We loved working together, so we decided to take a chance and start our own event planning company. Lindsay has since retired to be with her family and I now run 2 Friends Events with the help of my amazing team.

There is no question that choosing 2 Friends Events as our wedding planner was the best decision we made throughout the process. (And of course, we made a lot of other smart and delightful decisions thanks to the 2FE team!) From our first call through the week after our wedding, Nichole and her team provided us constant support, seamless logistics and research, and brought so much joy to the planning process. As our planner, Nichole listened, helped keep us focused on what we said was important to us, and was always five steps ahead with her proactivity and organization. And my goodness, did she bring our vision to life! Everything from it being colorful and vibrant to finding an ADA friendly venue to incorporating our dog and favorite beverage Spindrift to herding us all on the wedding day (no strong feat!). Last but not least, each person we interacted with was just kind and a good human being. When we had a family crisis the weeks leading up to the wedding, she immediately helped pull together contingency plans. We couldn’t have been more grateful for everything they did for us. Working with the Oso team was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We actually hired them about 2 years in advance, so we got to work with them for a super long time! One of the biggest reasons that we wanted to hire Oso specifically was because of their decor inventory, which was 100% available to use at no additional cost with their full wedding planning package. Weddings can be extremely wasteful in terms of decor, so it was nice to be able to consciously be a bit more sustainable! We honestly ended up hiring Oso for so many other services as well — Michelle did an amazing job with our signage, they also have a great photobooth package, and Michelle’s sister owns Bobaholics so we were able to get a discounted rate for a boba bar! It really felt like a one-stop shop :) Michelle, Gen, Raymundo, and Gennie were all so helpful in coordinating with vendors and giving us wedding advice/guidance - working with them also gave us confidence that we weren’t missing any important steps or details of wedding planning. They were also available by text/email anytime, and they always responded extremely quickly, which I so appreciated! Talking to them felt more like talking to friends who were super passionate about wedding planning! On the actual day of the wedding, my husband and I felt so stress-free because of Oso - they seamlessly guided everyone to stay on schedule, had walkie talkies to communicate with each other, and constantly asked us if we needed any food/water/etc. They took care of passing out our vendor tips, and set up all of our decor with time to spare! When people ask us for wedding planning advice, we always say that hiring a planner was the best decision we made - specifically Oso Events! They are truly the best at what they do :) We could not be more grateful to them!

Jesse and her team were amazing! We used them for month/day of coordination and photography of our wedding. I have nothing but great things to say about their work ethic, attention to detail, fast/clear communication and upbeat attitudes. Jesse was always there when I needed her and was fast to help me with any questions or needs I had. Jesse and Julia helped run my special day and they were on top of everything! I didn’t feel pulled in 100 directions trying to get things just the way I wanted it, because they had it locked down. This made it to where I was able to enjoy my night. AND THE DECORATION…. Oh my goodness they KILLED IT! I gave them a canva of how I wanted it to look throughout my venue and they nailed it to the very last detail ! Thank you all for everything you did for Josh and I on our special day!
