We want to give a special shout out to Angela who was our lead coordinator and took care of us during the rehearsal and wedding day. She was amazing and was able to give direction to our 16 group wedding party. We can't thank Angela enough for making our day incredible. “We did not use The Knott to find this venue but we had such an amazing experience we had to share. The venue itself, the first thing you see is a modern foodhall / full bar with a large variety of restaurants. If youre staying at the hotel connected, it was such a great place to hangout with your bridal parties before everything starts. Moving along to the even areas, the ceremony room gives off a modern barn yard style venue and it's such a pleasant contrast from what you initially see when first walking in which really adds to the "wow" factor when entering the room. The cocktail hour area is amazing as well and after we gifted some of our items, they will now have Cornhole and a beer cart available! The area itself is wide open with great seating areas as well. The reception is another instance where the contrast is such a difference from the food hall downstairs, it once again adds so much to that jsw drop reaction. We were approached multiple times complementing how "cool" this venue was and it was definitely a true compliment. Now the venue wouldn't be anywhere with out the staff and I can not say enough great things about them. The entire time was courteous, professional and really give they sense that they want to make sure you have your special day as one to remember. Specifically wanted to shout out our amazing coordinator - Brianna, banquet captain - Lee j and Dj - Rhy's. These three went above and beyond for us and it seemed like that was just their normal demeanor. Brianna made sure we had nothing to worry about and made every part of the planning process a breeze. Lee J was also always checking in appropriately often to ensure we were never left wanting, thirsty or hungry. Rhy's was also great to work with, we had a very specific request with music which ended up having my wife and I take part in a lightsaber fight to two different versions of starwars music - Duel of the Fates, and he handled it masterfully. All in all, 10/10 can not recommend enough.”

“We had our wedding at Carmel Fields in December, and it was a beautiful day. At first, I had some hesitations about choosing Wedgewood because all inclusive sounds like it could be a bit cookie cutter, but I’m so glad we went with them. They allowed us to personalize so many elements, and their staff made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. The Planning & Staff: We absolutely loved working with Alycia during the planning process leading up to the wedding. The whole team is so organized, responsive, and easy to work with. Every time I would email them with a question the answer was prompt and usually "Yes!". It made me feel so reassured and supported throughout. Despite a last-minute change to our day-of coordinator, the new coordinator we were paired with, Anahi, was fantastic and handled everything so well—so professional, sweet, and calming. She made everything run smoothly despite a timeline hiccup. Luis, our banquet manager, took over during the reception and I truly appreciated how attentive and organized he was. Flexibility & Customization: Wedgewood provided the structure of an all-inclusive venue, but they also allowed us the flexibility to bring in our own touches and vendors. I worked with their florist for the larger pieces (like our split ceremony arch and upgraded centerpieces) while also bringing in my own DIY florals for things like bridesmaid bouquets and bud vases. They were accommodating when it came to letting us customize certain elements, like our bar setup and décor, which helped us make the space feel like “us.” The Food: The appetizers during cocktail hour were a hit—guests really raved about them! I didn’t get as much feedback about the main plated meal, but our vendors mentioned they loved it. Personally, I didn’t get to eat much (even though I swore I’d be a bride who did!), and I felt the food was about what I expected for a wedding. Value for the Price: Carmel is a very high-cost area, and I feel like we got a great deal for what we paid. The venue is absolutely stunning, the weather was perfectly sunny for December. We did the elite package and got upgraded chairs, top shelf liquor, a plated meal - Wedgewood's packages allowed us to have a beautiful, elevated wedding without breaking the bank. Final Thoughts: The team we worked with went above and beyond to ensure everything came together flawlessly. If you’re looking for a venue that simplifies the planning process while still allowing room for personal touches, I highly recommend!”

“So happy with WW. They answered all questions I had throughout the process and were easily accessible. The Retreat was such a beautiful venue and they did such a great job. A lot of our guests said “it was the most beautiful wedding they’ve ever been to”. Super on top of it! I’m a little neurotic with planning in general and they followed instructions perfectly and even went above and beyond. Only issue - don’t get Tom as your DJ, or else you’ll be disappointed because he doesn’t do remixes or follows instructions diligently. He was good at making announcements, but as far as music goes, I would have been better off playing music off of my phone. They have a DJ that you’re required to use as part of the package because it’s in a residential neighborhood, but they do have other DJ’s aside from Tom. Otherwise everything else that WW did was fantastic.”

“Let me start by saying that the Secret Garden and the Epic Coordination team made all of my wedding dreams come true! I recently got married at the Secret Garden on April 28th, 2024. It truly was the most magical day of my life not just because I was marrying my soulmate, but because of the amazing coordination team that made our vision come to life. It was the first venue that my husband and I looked at, and we immediately fell in love with it. We loved that it was a beautiful indoor and outdoor garden venue, but we also loved how they offered an all-inclusive wedding package. They have a list of recommended vendors, including DJ, caterer, florist, photography/videography, and so much more. They give you the option to choose a vendor that they don't have on their recommended list, but we did everything through them and I wouldn't have had it any other way. They really offer the best-of-the-best professionals that know exactly what they're doing. A special shoutout to our coordinator, Laura, for being so organized and making sure everything was perfect on our big day! When it came to the day of the wedding, the entire timeline flowed seamlessly. None of the guests were left waiting around or wondering what was going on because the coordination team was so on top of everything! Everyone at our wedding, including myself and my husband, had an amazing time. Another thing to mention was that the communication with the Secret Garden and their team was beyond excellent! Any question I had, they answered promptly and made sure that the planning process was seamless. “When The Century advertisement popped up on my Facebook in December 2023, I knew I had to go and see it for my own eyes. A week later, I booked an appointment and first met with Crystal Brouwer. She gave me the tour, and I absolutely fell in love with the venue. Crystal was so patient, honest and understanding. I knew I had to book this venue, and lo and behold; May 25, 2024 was booked for me (and my fiance) of course. Then I met Tatiana Lopez. My coordinator, savior and all around superwoman. She coordinated our tasting, our floral appointments with decorations… I must have emailed her over 500 times. And she was so patient, understanding and she also alleviated any anxiety. All the small details, the big details, the details I didn’t even think of… she got it done! Chef Robert Root was in charge of our Buffett dinner. Our first tasting did not go as well, so we were able to do another one. Needless to say; the dinner was a success. (Guests would not stop complimenting the food.) The day of my wedding; Tatiana was there every step of the way. I would have forgotten to eat and drink if it weren’t for her! I blinked and I swear everything was going by so fast, and Tatiana was here to cue us and kept the timeline on track. Before I knew it, everything was packed and ready to go for us. It was all so flawless. And that is because of Tatiana! Thank you The Century team!l for making my wedding day dreams come true!”

“I don’t know exactly where to start, but Cuvier Club was absolutely fantastic from the beginning to the end in making sure our day was special, and they succeeded in that a million times. My husband and I began our search in 2023 to find a wedding venue that was not only nice and beautiful, but also warm and welcoming as an lGbt couple. We toured a few of the other Wedgewood owned venues that were more local to us in Los Angeles, each with their pros and cons, but before deciding on one of those, we decided to humor ourselves and take the 3 hour trip down to La Jolla to tour the Cuvier Club, and I am SO glad that we did. The Cuvier Club is absolutely beautiful. From the plant life, to the magical interior and the absolutely breathtaking ceremony sites, we knew immediately that this was the venue for us. Our first impression of the Cuvier Club was made so incredibly special by Anders. She was so incredibly informative, and we instantly felt a connection and knew that we were in good hands with her. She showed us around the venue, the various ceremony sites, and told us so much about the local area for places to take our wedding photos, where to have rehearsal dinners, and things to do for fun. The entire team - Anders, Lauren, Mandi, and later Janae and Selina - were absolutely wonderful. They always had smiles on their faces, helping to make our wedding day the best it could be. Like any event, nobody is perfect and there were some small hiccups along the way, but nothing out of the ordinary, and nothing that made a huge problem that couldn’t have been corrected with ease. On our wedding day, because we resonated with Ander so well, we requested her to be our day-of coordinator because we had so much confidence in her, as a fellow member of the lgbt family, to make our day the best it could be and we could tell deep down in her heart that she truly cared about us and wanted our day to be perfect, and it was. In addition to Anders, on our wedding day, Federico was our banquet captain with Sofia as our head server, and they were on it. They made sure we were taken care of at every moment, and I couldn’t commend them any more than I already do. 10’s, 10’s, 10’s across the board! From the DJ, to the officiant, to the planning team, to the management, you were all so fantastic and perfect, and I truly could not thank you enough, especially as a same-sex couple, for making our day as amazing as it could be. It’s not often that gay couples find a match, and even less often that they get married due to bigotry and hatred still shared by so many people, but you will find NONE of that here. They didn’t even slightly treat us any differently, and again, I cannot thank Anders enough for making us feel so welcome in the establishment. I would recommend this venue so highly to anybody, but I recommend it SO SO SO SO SO SO highly to anyone who may be a same-sex couple looking to find a venue that will accept them without hesitation.”

“One word: Perfect. As someone who suffers from severe anxiety, I can honestly say I have never felt more at-ease and confident than while working with the Wedgewood Weddings Redwood Canyon team -- they always had our backs, kept us on track, and made us feel taken care of. From the first venue visit, during the planning meetings, all the way until the rehearsal and wedding day, the professionalism, clear communication, planning resources, and organized approach made for a seamless experience. We worked with Allison as our Wedding Planner and Coordinator and I firmly believe that she is one of the main reasons our wedding went as incredibly as it did. Redwood Canyon, provides a planning binder as soon as you sign that includes monthly checklists ahead of the wedding to help keep you organized in between planning meetings. It is also filled with valuable information about the wedding planning process, examples, vendor questions, and general guidelines. It helped us structure the planning process without losing the ability to truly personalize our event. Every meeting we had with the planning team was concise, direct, and organized -- it helped us stay on track throughout the process and gave us the opportunity to discuss ideas and ask for advice (which they are also more than happy to give via email). Super responsive and accommodating -- we were so impressed with how easy the process was. We also partnered with their recommended Bakery, DJ, and Florist as part of our vendor team, and the coordination between venue and vendors was absolutely seamless...by the time the week of the wedding rolled around all the main aspects were locked in and we knew the event was in good hands. The wedding day itself was perfect. Allison served as our Day-Of-Coordinator, and together with Jacoby (co-coordinator), Liv (banquet captain), Liz (banquet captain), and rest of the team (cooks, servers, bartenders) we had the most incredible wedding. We arrived at the agreed-upon time on the day of the wedding, and from that moment onwards, the Redwood Canyon team took over to deliver the best experience. They were organized, calm, kept us well hydrated and fed, and kept everything on track for us all night. We were able to confidently hand off the reins -- we didn't have to think of anything all day other than having a good time and enjoying our day as much as possible, trusting that all the logistics were in good hands. Overall, the venue itself was gorgeous. We had our ceremony in the Arbor Lawn, our Reception in the Grand Ballroom (we initially chose the venue primarily because of the dance floor), and rented out the Rose Room for the Cocktail Hour. Everything was included and beautifully decorated with all our desired personal touches, the food and drinks were delicious, and the planning and coordination services must be some of the best in the business. I can't imagine a more incredible experience than what we had and am so thankful for the Redwood Canyon team's care and professionalism -- especially Allison, who we were fortunate enough to work with from first meeting through the day-of. “Mountain Meadows caught our eye as we loved the pictures that were featured. I looked at their pricing that was available through The Knot and saw that they had very reasonable prices compared to other venues. We decided to book a tour with Gaby, and she was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions that we had. She acted very professional and didn’t hesitate to offer her help. We ended up booking that same day because they had a few booking specials. We picked, a free additional hour of event time, 500 off ceremony site fee, and a free upgrade from classic to premium bar. In addition, we really liked that brands like Jameson, Hennessey, and Patron were in their premium bar package. I know a lot of venues would charge more and would even see these brands on “top shelf” menus. Throughout the whole process, Gaby was very responsive, even though since she was busy with other weddings. She would always make sure to reply on the same day but no later than the next day.  The look of the venue wasn’t too fabulous, but good enough for us. I was a little nervous about the food as I have seen mixed reviews stating that the food is good or that the food is bland. I also been to a Wedgewood wedding early last year with a similar menu and the food was average at best. The Wedgewood Wedding also had prime rib carving which was really dry, tough and well done. However, most of the food at Mountain Meadows was very surprisingly tasty. I could probably pass on the rice, but the scalloped potatoes and mac and cheese were both good. The salmon was okay to me, but I heard from a few guests that they went back for seconds. The prime rib at Mountain Meadows was probably my favorite as it was properly cooked and well-seasoned, which relieved me as I was paying extra for this feature. I know that the short ribs are really good too as we tried this during our tasting, but we did not pay extra for this since we already opted for the prime rib. Mountain Meadows also had great recommendations for vendors as well. The florist that we picked (Tutta Bella) really nailed it with the spiral centerpieces. Everyone loved SomeCrust (bakery) since their cake was very moist and not too overly sweet. The photo booth that we picked also (LX Pix) also had GREAT quality pictures (which I will be posting). Mountain Meadows also allowed outside vendors to come in also and did not require proof of insurance. I know that there are a lot of venues that are very strict and only allow their own services/vendors. We were able to hire an ice cream cart and a late night Kogi Truck to serve tacos. The only con I would say is that we ended up overestimating our guest count early in the process and didn’t adjust until right before the deadline. We ended up making payments for a little over our actual guest count and they mentioned they had to go through an approval process to refund us the extra expenses. My advice is if you would like to book, make sure to give an accurate guest count, or give a lower guest count. That way, you can pay the venue the difference versus going through the approval process. Or if you have a better idea of your guest count, make sure to adjust before you submit the remaining payments. Overall, it was a great experience. The service on the day of the wedding was fantastic. They saved my husband and I hors d’oeuvres as we were taking pictures during cocktail hour. The hors d’oeuvres were delicious and they did not skimp on the portion sizes as well”

“The Vistonian was a lovely venue! We loved all of the greenery and natural light inside the venue. It was spacious and allowed for plenty of room for our guests. The bridal suite was also spacious with lots of mirrors and outlets. We used the venue for both ceremony and reception. It was an easy transition going from one to the next. We worked with Shelly, the venue coordinator, and she was fabulous! Great communication from when we toured, booked, and up to our big day. The value for what we got was amazing as well! We did their all inclusive package and were happy with the price for all that we got: tables & chairs, bridal suite, catering, open bar, and DJ. Honestly, so great if you're on a budget or have a bigger budget and want to spend more on something like decor or florals. Highly recommend!!”
