I cannot express how grateful I am to have found Memories Made with Brittney LaShea! Brittney was instrumental in making the wedding of my dreams come true! Listen—I am a project manager by profession—super organized, type A control freak, very particular—so for me to hand over the most important day of my life to someone else seemed unimaginable. But from my first meeting with Brittney, I felt nothing but utter confidence in her abilities and she definitely proved me right! I hired Brittney for day-of coordination about 2-3 months out from my wedding which took place March 2025. Brittney is an EXPERT event planner who was able to give me so much guidance even though I was so far into wedding planning. She is also EXTREMELY thorough—“day-of” coordination doesn’t just mean you show up on the day of the wedding and Brittney understands that. She put in the necessary prep work, reviewing vendor contracts, creating a detailed day of timeline, coordinating with vendors, and leading the rehearsal. Working with Brittney in the weeks leading up to the wedding and in particular at the rehearsal, I was able to observe the intentionality with which she builds relationships with people. On the wedding day, Brittney was a literal SUPERHERO. She comes equipped with walkie talkies and the most thorough emergency kit I’ve ever seen! There were things that went wrong throughout the day (that’s inevitable) but Brittney shielded me from so much of that by making executive decisions and coming up with solutions on the fly, which allowed me to just enjoy my day. Cold sparks tripped the power in the reception hall—Brittney handled it. Wind kept blowing over the arch as they were trying to decorate—Brittney handled it. By the end of the night, I didn’t want to deal with the train on my reception dress—Brittney handled it (the woman literally stitched a bustle for me lol). I could go on and on forever about how amazing this woman is. My family, the vendors, and even random guests commented on what an incredible job she did. So I’m just going to say anyone would be LUCKY to have Brittney on their team.

Hiring Nicole as our day-of coordinator was the best decision we made throughout the whole wedding planning process. Nicole was prompt, thoughtful, and generous with her time and attention at every turn, and blew our expectations for a coordinator out of the park. I think it says a lot also when other vendors who do events like this frequently have good things to say, and our other vendors were positively raving about Nicole to us as the lead-in and the actual wedding day unfolded. Some highlights: * Monthly check-ins: Nicole was prompt and helpful in answering questions and making suggestions at each check-in. We got grateful feedback on some of Nicole’s suggestions about venue directions from several of our guests who used the website to navigate. * Very organized run-of-show: Nicole really set us off on a good foot with the wedding itinerary she sent over the month-ish before the wedding. The questionnaire that she sent us to build the initial draft of the itinerary was well-balanced with both brass tacks details and more open-ended questions about the flow and spirit of the day. What we didn’t expect was the amazing job Nicole then did of turning around and communicating with our other vendors about the details we settled on. Over the next week or so we started having our one-month-out check-ins with catering, photography, music, etc. and the major theme was “well I had a long list of questions for you, but your coordinator reached out to me–she is just FANTASTIC–and if we can confirm [insert all the correct details] then actually there’s nothing to do on your end”. It was AWESOME. For example, here is one of the actual quotes from one of my vendors emailing me:

 “Nicole and I talked and everything is taken care of, she is delightful and I can’t wait to meet her! Soooo excited for the big day!”

In the chaos of planning such a large-event I’m sure that anyone reading this review can imagine what a pleasure and a relief getting message after message like this is. And those messages were repeated by all of our vendors and many of our guests on the day. The thorough planning Nicole orchestrated really paid off. Our photos got knocked out like 1-2-3-DONE with Nicole’s cat-herding skills and thorough lists of names, and even when there were a few shuffley moments in the day (there will always be *something*) we were able to sail through them pretty breezily because Nicole had a firm handle on the broader spirit that we wanted the day to instill in us and our guests. At the end of our night, Nicole had already gotten most of the venue turned over (definitely, definitely recommend her services at Rural Hill in particular, a venue that she also manages). Our things to take home were neatly packaged to be loaded into our car. It was crazy easy and we were wrapped up in plenty of time for our rental period. As an extra bonus, I remembered the next day that we needed to collect and return a cake stand to our baker–when I reached out to Nicole about it the afternoon of the *day after our wedding*, she had already taken care of its return for us. There is even more I could go on about but my first draft of this review exceeded the character limit: there is really too much to type. TL;DR: Nicole was amazing. I don’t even feel like I covered everything, but she was absolutely key in making our day TOTALLY MAGICAL and RIDICULOUSLY EASY. 10/10 recommend, she is a pleasure to work with and really on top of things.

Morgan is simply fantastic! We are so fortunate to have found her and are thankful for the little God wink that led us to her. She is so personable and easy to work with, she listens to what the bride wants (and welcomed my perspective, too :) ) but yet guides based on her experiences, is firm but kind, and she respected and supported our desire to keep the day focused on the marriage itself and not getting overly wrapped up in everything else surrounding that day. She was detailed in her pre-wedding planning. As tends to happen in every wedding I’ve been around - things don’t go perfectly per the ‘script’ - and my daughter’s wedding was no different. But Morgan kept an absolutely calming demeanor about her the entire day and night, even while keeping one eye on the weather all around our outdoor wedding, which helped me keep my nerves in check, too. She problem solved on the spot while still remaining totally composed. Several people commented to me on how smoothly everything at the wedding seemed to run, which is a testimony to Morgan. I believe our wedding was the largest and most ‘spread out’ between ceremony/cocktail hour/reception she had ever done, and she made sure to have a great helper with her that day to help cover it all. We got together after the wedding and reflected on how things went. She was very open to my feedback because she wants to continue to grow in her craft, but what impressed me the most was how much self-reflection she had already done as a way for continuous improvement. My daughter very much enjoyed working with Morgan, too, and 10 out of 10 we would both choose to work with her again!

From the start, Crystal was everything we didn’t know we needed. Shortly after our engagement, my (now) husband and I had just lost a family member, and she not only helped us with a payment plan that worked for us, but she made sure we never felt like we were being treated differently. She worked with me for a year - helping with vendors, keeping me sane, and bringing my vision to life. And on the wedding day? She did everything. My dress straps popped with every hug - she had safety pins ready. My bridesmaids didn’t have bustles, so she created them on the spot. We had a last-minute venue issue - she handled it. When the rain forced a ceremony flip, she reorganized everything in 10 minutes. We were late to almost every meeting, off-script half the time, and definitely a rowdy bunch, but Crystal never lost her patience. By the end of the night, she felt like family. Hiring Libby was the BEST decision we made for our wedding! From the get-go, Libby helped us fine-tune the schedule for our big day so we could actually accomplish all of the things we envisioned for our wedding. As we drew closer, I was able to relax knowing that we had her on our team to think through everything we needed to tackle. She knew pretty much all of our vendors, which really helped make sure we knew what to expect from each. On the day of the wedding, Libby came prepared with everything we would need for our wedding to be a success. From ensuring everything was delivered/picked up for the venue to having an emergency kit for our wedding party, Libby was on it. Because of her attention to detail, we were actually ahead of schedule and could take additional photos and relax before the ceremony! She and her team ensured we had a drink waiting for us after the ceremony and that food was delivered to us at the head table so we could get a bite amid all the craziness. I'm sure there were a million other little things she did on our wedding day that we didn't even notice because of how smooth the day was. I went with Prestige Planning for my wedding planner because of the ease of use. I met with my certified wedding planner before I booked and she was amazing and explained the whole process. I knew I could plan my own wedding but I’m not a pro at all so I knew I would need a lot of help. I didn’t want to spend the money on a full wedding planner so going this route was absolutely perfect. They were with me every step of the way. I especially liked the SOS calls they give because I needed them to assist with a vendor I was having an issue with. I knew I was going to need help with logistics and stuff on the actual day of my wedding because I wouldn’t have time to do so, so I added the coordination add on to my package. So I got my wedding planned with major help from an actual certified planner and coordination for my wedding day for less than others are charging for just coordination. Just go for it. You will not be disappointed at all! They really went above and beyond and did more for me than what they had outlined they would do. I got more than my money worth.

My husband and I had our wedding in August 2023 which Patrice was our wedding planner. She stepped in when we had to let another planner go due to creative differences and Patrice made sure our wedding was exactly what we wanted! I’m a detailed person so I REALLY loved that she provides detailed instructions to the entire wedding party and vendors for where they’re supposed to be and what to do down to the minute! She brought vision to life (including displaying our mother’s actual wedding dresses during the reception) and remained calm through the whole process.
