“Our experience working with Jamie and Ceremony DJs can be best summed up by the fact that multiple people told us after the ceremony they wanted to book him for their wedding and at least one got his business card! I can't imagine a better DJ, truly. When we first met with Jamie, he said he could make people dance to anything and would keep people on the dance floor all night, and he WAS NOT LYING. The whole night, the dance floor was PACKED even though it was rainy/muddy/cold/wet. Jamie took us on a journey that covered all of the bases of the music we love to hear and dance to, seamlessly and magically (?) integrating genres with the best mixes, it was pure wizardry and really captured who we were. We as a couple care a lot about music and wanted music that represented who we were and what we like to listen to, and he did not disappoint! So much prep work went into this, he took patience and time to try to understand our tastes and vibe, and it was so cool to have the wedding played on vinyl- basically, Jamie just "got it" from start to finish and we had the best time! Our wedding also got delayed due to rain and a road closure and he was such a good sport, staying late to keep us all dancing for a whole other hour- so fun! Also, when our ceremony musician was stuck in traffic due to the storm, he was so prepared and had our prelude/processional music downloaded so we could still walk down the aisle to the songs we'd chosen. Overall, such a cool, kind, funny guy who was professional and prepared in every way and honest just takes time to meet and know his clients, and clearly just loves to share his love of music. I would book him for everything if I could. BOOK THIS DJ. You will NOT regret it!”

He was punctual, detail oriented, and our guest couldn’t stop talking about how good he was, both as a musician and as a DJ. I really appreciated the time and effort he took to insure that no details were missed. We booked a lighting package as well and our ceremony space looked even better than I could have imagined. Joey made sure the ceremony audio was perfect. Everyone could hear the whole ceremony which was really important to us. And when he played cello for our processional and recessional, the sound really filled the space and sounded beautiful. During our cocktail hour he played cello and did some beatboxing, we were so impressed and our guests loved it as well, they were talking about how good he was and how they could hardly believe it was live music. After dinner the dance floor was full the whole night. Even months later we still have people telling us how much fun they had dancing, how great our playlist was, and how much they liked our DJ. If you want your wedding to be classy, romantic, a total rager, and go off without a hitch, I would highly recommend hiring Cello Joe!”

“Funk Almighty was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!!! From the beginning, Daryl, the band's manager, was a dream to communicate with – always quick to respond and incredibly accommodating to our needs. On the big day, they exceeded our expectations with one heck of a performance. Their setlist was a hit, blending different genres to cater to our very diverse group of guests. We gave them a heads up and they brought hits from the 70's all the way through the 2000's. What really set them apart was the band's chemistry and enthusiasm were infectious! They were having just as good a time we were and that made the dance floor the place to be all night! Despite a minor sound glitch at the start, they handled it with utmost professionalism. Their performance was a major highlight of our celebration that left us and our guests thoroughly impressed. “Anne Roos was a fantastic live music addition to our wedding in early April. She had worked with our coordinator in the past, making it a seamless integration into the wedding program. We loved the deep library of music that she offered; we found songs that fit every moment for our ceremony and the cocktail hour. We had our wedding just after in the last major snowfall in North Lake and she was able to accommodate that the changing weather without any disruption to the program. The guitarist, David, added a very special element to our ceremony and our DJ Kevin kept everyone dancing until the very end of the night! All of our guests loved the photobooth and I am so grateful for the hundreds of photos taken that I will cherish for a lifetime.
