“Five-O DJ/Tom was the BEST!!! I reached out for quotes for our wedding and he was so responsive, detailed, and helpful. Once we started working together, it was clear that he was a very experienced DJ and a true professional. He also helped us with SO many ceremony planning items. I was considering hiring a Day of Coordinator, and I totally did not need one because Tom handled everything perfectly. Five-O DJ did our ceremony music as well as cocktail hour and the full reception, and I honestly expected to pay a lot more considering how many services he provided! I wanted our cocktail and dinner hours to sound like a live mariachi band was there, and he made it happen. His commentary was fun and set a great tone for the reception. He kept everyone in the wedding party organized and on time for all of the events and speeches. We even received customized remixes of our entrance songs so that the timing of everything flowed beautifully! We will definitely be hiring Five-O DJ again for future parties and events! I highly recommend.”

“I got married 1/25/20 (literally right before pandemic hit). Never did I image the process of planning would be so smooth and of course I prepared for at least 1 hiccup during the day. When I tell you EVERYTHING was perfect; it really was. Belvedere's team is the reason for this! From months leading up to my day, weeks, days, and hours; Jodi, Doro, and the rest of the team were great at getting back to all my questions and made me feel comfortable with all things wedding related. The tasting (3 months prior) was amazing and chef Alfredo made his presence, explained all choices, and this was the moment that getting married hit us! Let's not forget that doro was amazing at the tasting too! Although side note; I've worked with the belvedere team for 10+ years for corporate events so there were lots of jokes on why i even needed a tasting. :) fast forward to rehersal the day before, doro once again was a gem to have around. He calmed my nerves with a glass of chardonnay. :) day of the wedding jodi stuck around in my bridal suite and made sure my dress was perfect for my entrance, came down and watched a bit of the ceramony, hugged me afterwards, and made sure all was great before she made her exit. The bartenders were on point, food service was quick, hot and delicious, decorations were in ALL the right spots per my horrible instructions (they are great at figuring things out!) And I had nothing to worry about other than making sure I soaked up EVERY second with my new groom. Although I've known belvedere a long time and have had numerous events here (sometimes 6 or more a month) my wedding felt amazing and it was nothing like my corporate events. I also will let future brides know that you will be treated just as amazing! If you want a jaw dropping venue with bonus amazing staff that will treat you as if you're their most important customer (and even a friend) then you are in the right place. You will get all of these same treatments... it doesnt matter if you've known them for 10 years or it's your first meeting. They care about every person coming in their venue and want you to walk away knowing they have their $%*T together and you only have to focus on you!”

“One of the biggest parts of a wedding day is having the memories captured in a way that allows you to be transported back. As someone who worked in a creative field, I was very picky about who would take our photos and in the end went with George Street because of the company's reputation of delivering quality photos with experienced photographers. I'm so glad we made this choice, because during our first look the weather decided to turn to a thunderstorm and it rained 1.5 inches for the next few hours. While this could be a day ruiner, we quickly pivoted and moved everything into our tent and I know that with a less experienced photographer we might not have the incredible photos we do. Josh was easy to work with, made us comfortable and went with the flow when we had ideas about shooting in the rain, getting wet and muddy. The photos we have are incredible and I can feel the exact way I did when we did our private vows, said I do and had our first dance. “I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Windy City Glam. From the planning stages to the wedding day itself, everything felt thoughtful, organized, and deeply personal. Celeste and Alex were not only incredibly talented but also genuinely lovely to be around. And having Catherine who owns Windy City Glam and is also a close friend and one of my bridesmaids, made it feel all the more special. We got ready at the Hyatt House in West Loop, which isn’t the most spacious or salon-like spot for hair and makeup. But Celeste and Alex showed up early, fully prepared, and made the space work so seamlessly you’d think they set up there all the time. The room felt calm and happy, exactly what you want on a wedding morning. Celeste did makeup for me, my bridesmaids, and my mom. We had done a trial beforehand, and I gave quite a bit of feedback on what I liked and what didn’t feel quite like me. She took every note seriously, and on the wedding day, it all came together perfectly. The look felt just right, elevated, soft, with sparkly eyeshadow and still very much me. I felt beautiful without feeling overdone. The makeup lasted through every emotion, every hug, every photo, and hours of dancing. She also gave so much care to the rest of the bridal party. Everyone looked incredible and felt comfortable and confident, which set the tone for the whole day. Alex styled everyone’s hair, and she was just as amazing. At our trial, I had tighter waves than imagined, and I mentioned wanting something a little softer. On the day of, she adjusted the style to make the waves looser and added pearl accents that made it feel more romantic, and I loved it. It held beautifully all day and night through wind and nonstop dancing. My bridesmaids and mom also looked gorgeous, with styles that fit each person’s hair type and vibe. Alex was calm, focused, and incredibly efficient, but she never made anyone feel rushed. She cared about how everyone felt walking out of that chair. Catherine was a huge help behind the scenes with planning the schedule. She organized the timeline for hair and makeup so well that we stayed on track the entire morning without feeling on a timer. That kind of planning and attention to detail made the day run much more smoothly and let me enjoy the getting-ready part instead of stressing about timing. What made Windy City Glam stand out is how personal and supportive the whole experience felt. Celeste and Alex are true professionals, but they’re also kind people who bring such good energy into the room. They made me feel like the best version of myself on one of the most meaningful days of my life. If you’re considering Windy City Glam, do it. You’ll feel cared for, listened to, and completely at ease. I couldn’t be more grateful for them.”

“We got married on January 18, 2020 and let me start out by saying Tom did an AMAZING job capturing our special day! He was punctual and set up in time for the ceremony. (And that was in the middle of a snowy winter day!) During the reception he didn’t miss any moving parts; cocktail hour, the entrances, dances or cake cutting. Once she realized her knack for event organization and planning, the studio was quickly born.

“Working with Blair was probably the best decision we made during the process of planning our wedding. My husband and I both work 9-5 corporate jobs, and we knew that we needed to bring someone onto our “wedding team” that would help keep us on track with all of the milestones during the wedding planning process. From the get-go, over our 15-month planning period, Blair was always transparent about timing and was a master of following up regarding timelines, without ever badgering us or coming across as controlling. She spent over an hour discussing budgets with us and our families early on, to make sure that everything we planned stayed in the budget range that we’d all agreed upon. This was especially helpful during our venue and vendor selection process. She helped us find that blew our socks off, and also found us the most wonderful florist (@thelocalpetaler) who was able to provide us way more bang for our buck than any florist we’d be able to find on our own - a huge advantage. While we had our venue already picked out, Blair was able to recommend a food and beverage package with an available catering company that fell delivered us fantastic food and a premium beverage package that fit our budget.   Leading up to the wedding, Blair was also a master in helping us coordinate our wedding day planning including family photos, transportation e.g. coordinating our bus between multiple hotels and the venue while making it easy for us to just focus on ourselves. The peace of mind that Blair brought us throughout the planning process, week of, and day of our wedding made having our wedding a cakewalk rather than a headache. Spending the money to hire Blair was the best decision we could’ve made for our wedding!”

“We could not have been happier with our decision to get married at Walden! From the moment we booked our date, the planning process was made seamless and actually enjoyable thanks to the incredible built-in planning team, Kalila and Ally. Having coordinators included in the cost of the venue was such a valuable bonus, and they truly made all the difference. Kalila and Ally were there with us every step of the way, staying on top of every detail for our 18-month engagement/wedding planning journey. They reached out to vendors, followed up on our behalf when needed, and offered spot-on recommendations that perfectly suited our vision and budget. Their guidance and expertise helped us make the best choices, and their input kept us calm and organized. On top of their professionalism, they were so down-to-earth and fun to work with, bringing energy and laughter to every planning session and making the entire experience even more memorable. One of the highlights was the collaborative online planning tool we had access to as part of booking Walden. It kept everything organized in one place, allowing us to easily stay in touch with our planners, track tasks, and manage finances and contracts. It was loaded with helpful resources, making planning a breeze. Walden provided us with much more than a beautiful venue. They gave us an incredible planning experience and an amazing team that felt like family by the time the wedding arrived. The entire wedding party and all the family members who were there the entire day of the wedding had nothing but amazing things to say too...they were all shocked at how much support we had throughout the entire day to the point where we did not have to lift a finger. And don't even get us started on the food and bar...we've never been complimented more in our lives. We were shocked at how insanely good the food and drinks were at our tasting party months before the wedding, but we were curious if it would live up to the hype on our actual wedding day where we had 216 guests. It might've been even better on our wedding day! Guests were raving about our food and drinks. We were told by nearly every guest that it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding, bar none. We even had sober people come up to us and go on and on about how amazing even the mocktails were. The only thing we regret is being too excited and not having enough of an appetite to truly enjoy dinner as the bride and groom. But even so, our planning team made sure the servers packaged up our entrees so we could take them home a few days later when we came back to the venue to pick up our belongings. Honestly, there are a million other reasons why we'd recommend Walden for your wedding venue, but this is already getting to be too long of a review. Basically, if you’re looking for an all-inclusive venue where you’re genuinely taken care of every step of the way, we cannot recommend Walden highly enough! Thank you, Kalila and Ally, the entire bar/service staff, and truly just everyone at Walden for helping make our wedding day everything we dreamed of and more! P.S. - Make sure you get golden hour photos on the rooftop at Walden...we are soooo delighted with our photos from up there.”
