“When I was looking for floral vendors for my July 2024 wedding in Block Island, I came across Ayla’s Instagram, and I knew immediately I had to work with her. I fell in love with the whimsical, natural, English-garden vibe of her florals, and I just thought she was the coolest person. From the first conversation we had, it felt like she “got” me, suggesting flowers, designs, and concepts better than I could possibly articulate myself. She was incredibly thoughtful putting together multiple proposals that fit our vision and our budget. The entire planning process couldn’t have been easier because of how sweet, communicative, and easy Ayla was to work with. Cut to the wedding day, and I was honestly speechless seeing her work come to life in our tent. Ayla is an ARTIST. She created a gorgeous 65 ft table runner for our head table that was so dreamy I still think about it. The bouquets were exactly what I was looking for - natural and simple but packed a stunning punch. Then there was the tent entrance installation, which was so beautiful on its own but also so thoughtfully designed to enhance the view and setting of our venue. Multiple guests came up to me on the wedding day (and even in the weeks afterwards) commenting on how the florals were some of the most unique and beautiful they had seen. I truly could go on and on. Ayla and her amazing team at shade studio exceeded every expectation a million times over. Hands down, Ayla is the best and I couldn’t recommend her more.”

For the ceremony and cocktail hour, we provided him with a specific music selection, and even though we never rehearsed together, he nailed it perfectly. During the reception, we gave him a playlist, and he struck the perfect balance between sticking to our choices and reading the crowd to keep everyone dancing. One highlight was when Joey G handed the microphone to people in the crowd, turning our reception into an impromptu karaoke party. It was a blast! He was not only fun and engaging but also very attentive to our needs. He asked how to pronounce each name correctly for the toasts, ensuring everything went smoothly. We requested that he not take song requests, and he respected our wishes completely. The sound quality was stellar, and his equipment setup was flawless. Joey G understood our need for clean music as we had many families with young children attending, yet he still kept the atmosphere lively and fun. The dance floor was packed with all 150 guests! Joey G was also a great help with announcements, coordinating toasts, and working with friends and family to announce the newlyweds and photo groups. His flexibility and attention to detail were impressive. Overall, I highly recommend Joey G to any couple looking for an awesome wedding DJ. He provided a questionnaire that made the whole planning process so easy, and his execution was simply fantastic. Joey G truly made our wedding day unforgettable!”

Luke’s originally started as a Record Store by the name Luke’s Record Exchange, started by Luke T Renchan. As years progressed, Luke T decided to start a Disc Jockey Company in 1983. This was an instant success. Before long, Luke T had eight employees doing events for him. Many years passed and his son Luke B showed an interest in what his father was doing. At the age of 9, Luke B would accompany his father and observing every move he made. Gradually he was allowed to make steps till he was able to do his own events.

“12/10 would recommend Luke B Renchan for any DJ services you need in the future. He killed it for us on our wedding day! From the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, to finishing with a killer reception. His attention to detail, calls prior the big day, and day of timeline really helped us feel comfortable with him being our DJ for our wedding. We had no issues day of. If anything we were the ones that went to take pictures during the sunset and my bride had a dress change. Luke pivoted easily in helping keep the dance floor going and re-introduced the bride and groom to the reception when we were back. He let us pick the remaining 5 songs of the reception before our encore songs. I had so many people come up to me after the wedding complimenting our DJ. Luke was absolutely amazing! 12/10 would recommend him to anyone in need for their wedding or other DJ needs. Thanks again Luke! You killed it for us!”
