Jess made my absolute dream wedding florals come true! After our initial consult, she sent me a beautifully pieced together PDF of her ideas/vision for the florals which must have taken her so much time. We discussed any changes, and then signed the contract. She was extremely responsive, flexible, and understanding throughout the entire wedding process which made my life as a bride so much easier. On the day of the wedding, she was there early and had her set-up process down to a schedule. I have to say, the florals were absolutely stunning and had my guests asking for the name of my florist. I feel that her work was truly worth more than what I paid for and I appreciate everything that she did so much. I don't know how to give more than 5 stars but I would if I could!

I can’t recommend Far Out Catering & Events highly enough! Carla and her wonderful team helped me organize a beautiful baby shower for my daughter-in-law. They not only provided a fantastic luncheon buffet, but they also created a stunning layout, handled the vendors, and their flower team made adorable centerpieces for the tables. I rented the mimosa cart from them, and it was a highlight of my event! If you are looking for a company that will take care of everything so you can enjoy the event, contact them!

We had a great experience working with Sarahi for our wedding this past August! Sarahi was very helpful to answer all my questions throughout the booking process and to help me figure out which package I needed. An engagement session was included in our package, and that was so helpful to get to know her and feel more comfortable in front of the camera! For the wedding day, Sarahi showed up early and did a BEAUTIFUL job with the details photos. Those are some of my favorite photos from the whole day! She and her assistant worked really well with our videographers even though they had never met before, and they helped to make sure we stayed on-track with the timeline the whole day and night. She captured everything we wanted, and even helped find beautiful photo spots that we hadn't considered before. After the wedding, she delivered the photos very quickly, and we were so happy with how they turned out!

The outdoor ceremony space, with its meadow and stunning views of the Bay Area, is absolutely breathtaking. And the transition to a yummy dinner on the deck makes for such a cozy evening to top off the celebration. Not to mention, the fire pits s’mores option at the end of the night is an excellent way to make sure all guests feel comfortable and can enjoy their time - dance party or no! From a photographer’s perspective, this venue is a dream. The redwoods, open spaces, and panoramic views create endless opportunities for gorgeous photos, no matter the season or time of day. Plus, the staff here are amazing - always professional, friendly, and on top of everything, making every event run smoothly. I highly recommend working with their venue coordinators to keep things running smoothly, and the kitchen staff is beyond. Thalia saved our wedding. We had to change photographers very last minute and were super worried about hiring someone new. Then we found Thalia and from the moment we had our first intro call with her we had a feeling that everything was going to work out. She was so professional, during our first call she was very well organized and clear about what she would need from us. She took her time to make sure we were a great match and to understand our vision. She was personable and kind, speaking with her felt like talking to a friend right away. She was considerate, during all parts of the wedding she made sure to give us time alone together and we never felt rushed. Even still she constantly captured the most breath taking photos. Lastly she was so much fun! Our guests loved her and thought she had the most wonderful energy. She directed us very well. Looking over the pictures I’ve never felt so beautiful. She even brought her own props to go with our theme for the pictures. A vintage camera and tray. Everything she did was so thoughtful. Carlos provided wonderful service at both our engagement shoto shoot and the day of our ceremony. He started both with a quick speech on posing and posture to help everyone look their best. He brought his son as a second shooter for our ceremony, and they both mingled with our guests at the reception, getting casual shots of most of our friends and family. He provided finished photos so quickly after the event (a little over 400 photos) that we were able to send those casual shots out with the thank you cards.

Yoko made sure to get to know us and took every step possible over the year we worked together to make sure that we were prepared for the big day. We never felt behind schedule or rushed because Yoko and team were so organized and on top of it. They really took care of us throughout the entire process. TLDR: Sarah Fischback photography was perfect for our wedding! She worked with us every step of the way, had contingency plans and made our wedding day perfect. Why/what we chose: We booked her about a year out from our wedding in May 2024. We wanted someone who was local, with a great portfolio, and wasn’t a chain with multiple sites and a huge staff. She was flexible with the contract as we decided what we did and didn’t want. We decided on 1 photographer for 8 hours, 1 photographer for 6 hours & 1 videographer for 6 hours with an 8-10 min video of the day, plus a hard drive of pictures & footage. Leading up: We made payments in 3 installments over that year. We filled out a form which laid out specific shots we wanted, timeline for the day, and choose music for the video. 1 month before the wedding we had a phone call with Sarah directly to discuss all the plans. She answered every question we had and took great notes on a spreadsheet that she shared with us. She also told us that she was pregnant and would be due sometime soon after our wedding so she was planning to have the second photographer stay longer to help out in case she couldn’t do certain things, at no charge to us. The only “problem”: A week before the wedding Sarah texted us that she had gone into labor. This could easily have been one of those stressful last minute wedding issues, but she had an organized, thorough, and thoughtful contingency plan. She had her secondary photographer become the primary, and had another individual as her secondary. She filled them in on the plans of the day and everything was still a go! And Sarah still edited our photos. It was a bummer we wouldn’t have Sarah there, but given how everything had gone so far we trusted her and hoped for the best! Wedding day: The bridal party was met by Sara Fischer (our new primary) at a nearby hotel right on time for all the getting ready shots! Sean (secondary) arrived with Jose (videographer). They started with shots of the venue and groomsmen getting ready. The ceremony started and they just sort of blended in with the crowd, it was great! We didn’t have a wedding planner for making sure we were on time, but the photographers helped with this (not their job but super helpful). The reception went really well too! They worked hard and I hope I gave them a break to have some food as the day really got away from me! One of the other great things was I had a film camera and wanted some film photos and Sean took a bunch with it for me and I really appreciated that (I bought the film, developed, & scanned them & Sarah did edit some of them). Sara, Sean, and Jose were absolutely delightful people to have at the wedding and seemed truly happy to be there. Photo reveal: 2 weeks after the ceremony we got 8 sneak peaks and gave some feedback on coloring and lighting preferences! 8 weeks after the ceremony we got our photos! I honestly love every single photo they took! Absolutely no duds! Our video was 9 minutes long and beautiful! It is amazing to see all these shots of us and our guests, especially from times I didn’t even notice the cameras. Final thoughts: I cannot recommend Sarah Fischback enough. She did so much for us and made our day very special. I know the photographer is one of the most expensive parts of the wedding, but Sarah far exceeded my expectations and it was well worth it!

We interviewed and had conversations with a few wedding coordination vendors and Lavender Crown was the best fit! Michelle was easy to chat with, was knowledgeable about the wedding experience, shared her planning/coordination experience, and described how we could benefit from her services. We hired Lavender Crown Events for full planning. Michelle and Hannah were beneficial throughout our entire planning process providing advice and making suggestions to ensure our vendors and venue had the information they needed. They took care of tasks and worked with each vendor to ensure that we had a smooth wedding, and what a wedding it was! We felt so well taken care of throughout the entire process, and especially the few days up to and including our wedding day. We were so thankful to not have to worry about anything day-of and had a wedding making amazing memories! Michelle had a fantastic and detailed timeline and her expertise and know-how made it so our vendors had an easy time working with each other! Overall, we're so thankful that we hired Michelle (and Hannah!!) from Lavender Crown. Cannot recommend enough! If you are choosing between any other planners/coordinators, choose Lavender Crown.

Honestly. Patricia was fabulous. As the Mother of the Bride, I watched her handle vendors, last minute surprises, and all of our guests with Grace and Professionalism. I never experienced any anxiety and knew that she had absolutely everything under control. My husband and I arrived before anyone else and watched as she seamlessly made sure that everything was done as planned. Her presence was barely noticeable except when needed and then she would almost magically appear anticipating the need. I am so impressed with her skills and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to my closest friends and family.

I cannot recommend Emily enough! We found her a few months out from the wedding and did a call to talk about our budget and our vision for our wedding. Emily was so accommodating, shaping a photography and videography package that fit us perfectly! On our wedding day she was incredibly hard working and well prepared. She makes everyone she meets feel comfortable, confident and beautiful in their pictures! On top of honoring our "shot list" and getting all of my top priorities taken care of, Emily scoped out the venue and came up with fun locations and ideas that we hadn't considered! She also played with traditional photography, shooting on film, and polaroids all of which gave us unique looks that we love! If you're looking for a skilled, artistic, and friendly photographer, you've found her!

TL;DR: Kim Baker Beauty is fantastic and you should absolutely book them! When looking for a hair & makeup artist, as a queer couple, we were a little apprehensive about finding an artist who would be well-versed in hair & makeup for couples and weddings outside of heteronormative traditions. My partner was a little worried about finding someone who would "get it" in terms of their style--more minimal and masculine--and who wouldn't try to push them into doing a more feminine style. Kim and Audra both totally got it! Kim was super communicative throughout the whole process and was so great to work with. Due to unforeseen circumstances the week of our wedding, Kim couldn't make it--but she immediately organized one of her other artists, Audra, who did a truly superb job. My partner and I both got hair and makeup services. I had a more classic bridal look and my partner had more minimal makeup and their short hair styled. We both absolutely loved the way we looked and felt amazing on our wedding day! We wanted a calm, chill morning while getting ready for our wedding and Audra was lovely, so kind and easy to talk to, and had a very calm energy. Our hair and makeup lasted extremely well throughout the evening, even through hours of dancing! Kim and Audra are total pros and made us feel stunning on our wedding day. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Our experience with Italian Brothers Restaurant as our wedding caterers was exceptional. Their communication throughout the planning process was excellent - they were always responsive to our questions and requests. On the day of the wedding, they truly went above and beyond, even accommodating a last-minute vegan meal request from one of our guests. The quality of their work was top-notch, and we were so grateful that they brought us dinner and dessert plates to our sweetheart table during the chaos of the celebration. The food was delicious and our guests raved about it. We highly recommend Italian Brothers Restaurant for any couple looking for an outstanding catering experience for their wedding day.

We held our wedding reception at Saratoga Springs in the Cathedral Grove region of the venue on a Saturday in October. After visiting them for a walkthrough, we booked this venue about a year and a few months in advance. This was the first venue we visited and we fell in love! We felt a great family-like vibe from the staff, starting with Jennifer who coordinated our initial booking and tour. Throughout our time preparing for this event, Olivia and Sam were extraordinary in their communication, response time, and knowledge of these events. They did a wonderful job in helping us understand what we needed vs. what we wanted and good decisions to make. They never tried to upsell us on more expensive options, always letting us know the best value for what we wanted. Throughout this process, we knew we had made the right choice in terms of staff. Scenically, Saratoga Springs is stunning! An outdoor venue with several different species of large trees like oaks and redwoods, many small creeks that run through and around the venue, and several amenities included such as lights that wrap around the trees, a firepit, and artificial turf that you can actually wear high heels on! We were in love with the scenery immediately because our reception was LOTR/Legend of Zelda themed and this was perfect for us. Throughout the actual event, the Saratoga Springs staff was excellent. They assisted us and our own day of wedding coordinators in running the event and making sure we had everything that they could provide. Our reception was during a brutal heat wave in the Bay Area, but Cathedral Grove had so many large trees that the shade they provided meant the floor never got hot and it felt more like 75 degrees which was SO essential for the comfort of ourselves and our guests. Everything was great, and we give the venue and their staff a 10/10. There was one glaring issue we want to address. The DJ we booked, Paul Dominguez, was a very nice man. He seemed to be on top of it, being in constant communication with us leading up to the event. We felt that he was going to do a great job. Yet, when it came time for the event, he made SEVERAL mistakes in what we asked him to do that we felt the need to address this situation and performance. He is part of the approved vendor list for DJs but we honestly feel Saratoga Springs needs to either reevaluate him or discuss this with him because literally everything else about the night was perfect for us, except him. Again, he is a nice guy and even provided cold sparklers for us for free which we really appreciated, but the lack of attention to detail in several aspects of this night was something we felt we needed to address here. Overall, Saratoga Springs is an excellent venue choice for a big event like a wedding/reception and we are happy to recommend anyone looking for a venue. We had an amazing experience for our reception and we are very satisfied with the staff and scenery of this venue.

Aysha was a dream to work with for our wedding ceremony music. Her communication style was prompt and friendly, which we really appreciated during the hectic wedding planning process. She brought such a magical, romantic atmosphere to our ceremony with her beautiful harp music. Aysha is clearly dedicated and passionate about her craft. The music she played as I walked down the aisle was simply dreamy. Having Aysha play was one of our best wedding decisions, she really contributed so much to the special moments on our big day.
