A week before my event both my video and photographer called and talked to me to make sure everything was correct and asked if I had any questions or needed any help with my itinerary for them. The day of the event was amazing, the videographer asked questions and made sure we stayed on schedule to capture everything and Our photographer literally stood in the rain to get the most perfect and amazing shots! “One of the biggest parts of a wedding day is having the memories captured in a way that allows you to be transported back. As someone who worked in a creative field, I was very picky about who would take our photos and in the end went with George Street because of the company's reputation of delivering quality photos with experienced photographers. I'm so glad we made this choice, because during our first look the weather decided to turn to a thunderstorm and it rained 1.5 inches for the next few hours. While this could be a day ruiner, we quickly pivoted and moved everything into our tent and I know that with a less experienced photographer we might not have the incredible photos we do. Josh was easy to work with, made us comfortable and went with the flow when we had ideas about shooting in the rain, getting wet and muddy. The photos we have are incredible and I can feel the exact way I did when we did our private vows, said I do and had our first dance. George Street also impressed me with a quick turnaround and I loved that I could have all of my images with a fee. I have thousands of outtakes and moments to look at for the rest of my life! She was also patient in finding the right lip shade for each of us. Melanie was a great presence to have in the bridal suite. Sharing stories, laughing at our jokes and overall bringing the energy up. Each persons hair style choice was unique and executed exactly how we asked. “Our wedding day & the planning leading up to it was absolutely perfect and we can't thank the Chicago Winery staff (especially our event manager Hulda!) enough for making our wedding come to life exactly as we dreamed it. The venue is gorgeous, our guests raved about the food/appetizers/cocktails/etc. and it is truly a night we will never forget. Being able to go outside to the cocktail hour terrace was also a huge plus to get people moving around and seeing new parts of the venue while the Chicago Winery staff transformed the whole space from ceremony to reception. We worked with Amy right after booking the space and she was so helpful in being a resource for us to bounce questions off of as we began planning. We utilized a lot of the preferred vendors (florist, DJ, etc.) that Chicago Winery recommended and they did not disappoint. Our event manager, Hulda, was soooooo helpful throughout the last 6 months of preparations and as our day-of manager - we could not have done it without her. She made sure the whole day was perfect and everything timeline-wise lined up exactly as we envisioned it. Can't recommend Chicago Winery enough! 1000000/10”

Every single person we talked to from Lindsay Mackey, their amazing manger and our first contact to the hotel-block assistant was a joy to work with, communicative and helpful. The workbook, spreadsheets, and connections with other coordinators and vendors made the whole wedding planning process more enjoyable and streamlined. We chose the Day of Coordination and are very grateful to have had Hanh as our wedding coordinator! Hanh is worth her weight in gold! With Day of Coordination we received not only ten hours of custom coordination from the wonderfully efficient and empathic Hanh, we also had the help of her assistant. This was perfect because someone was by my and my husband’s throughout the day. I loved that with SEG we had a whole team of magnifically organized, thorough and compassionate individuals to support us in executing our dream wedding. Once we had submitted our information Lindsay contacted us to go over all of the things included in wedding planning. She created a rough draft of our day of timeline and gave us access to our Wedding Workbook. They have templates for everything you will need for organizing your wedding and making sure you do not miss out on important, but often overlooked details. Two months before our wedding date we were connected with Hanh. From our first meeting throughout the whole time before the wedding and for the duration of our wedding itself Hanh was both our wedding angel and ninja rolled all into one. I had done a lot of the initial setting up vendors, but as soon as she could she took over as my contact person. This meant the vendors had to email/reach out to Hanh and left me feeling like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. From this point on I started to enjoy wedding planning.I love that she reached out to not only myself, but included my now husband and daughter in on a meeting. If there were any hiccups leading up to the wedding I did not know until they were already handled. On our wedding day, everything went smoothly for my husband and I and our family.Again if there were any mishaps my husband and I were oblivious of them and we had the best wedding ever! “100% would recommend Walden for a stress-free wedding experience!!! We knew Walden was our venue when we read about their full-service wedding packages including planners, kitchen/bar all under one roof. After we toured the venue, we could not wait to have our wedding here. Our main planners were Hannah and Briscel, and we had the pleasure of a 3rd planner, Ally with a last-minute day-of staffing change. Hannah and Briscel took the stress out of wedding planning, keeping us on track with every detail and vendor. Ally made sure the wedding day ran seamlessly. One of the best things we loved about working with the planners was their recommendations for local vendors (floral, DJ, photography etc.). Their assistance contacting and coordinating calls/quotes from vendors was also a huge help. Every possible detail regarding the wedding was accounted for, so we were certain nothing would be missed along the way. Now for the fun part, our wedding day was absolutely perfect and better than we ever dreamt. The coordinators kept us on schedule and sent an itinerary in advance, so everyone knew where to be and what was coming up next. They handled all of the communication with vendors and all the little details, so we could fully be present on our wedding day. We did not have any moments of stress, or panic, and was rarely asked any questions or to do any tasks. The Walden team set everything up for us from the welcome sign to the memorial table and of course the gorgeous reception room. It’s like suddenly we got teleported into our Pinterest vision board! A big shout out to Nick and Matt, the kitchen and bar staff. They were absolutely amazing! The drinks were awesome, the bartenders could make any drink guests wanted including mocktails. The food was incredible, so many guests complimented on how delicious their meals were. We also really appreciated their accommodations for various food restrictions and preferences. Overall, the Walden staff has truly thought of everything. They made the very daunting task of planning a wedding much more manageable, and made the whole day that much more special. Could not think of a better venue in the area for folks planning a wedding!”

“I found Mike via thumbtack & although on there it stated he was booked on my wedding date I thought I’d still reach out to him. I’m so happy I did because he put me in touch with our dj, thankyouteddy and he did an awesome job djing for our wedding! Mike was very informative and gave me plenty of information. He also has you do a questionnaire to help narrow down the right dj for you based off your music preferences. Mike will reached out periodically to follow up & also puts you in touch with the dj the week of the wedding to go over details. Teddy arrived on time and kept everyone on our toes throughout the night. The only thing I will say, is if you’re doing bridal party introductions it’s best to rehearse it if possible. Or give an exact time of the song for your dj to play when each couple comes out.”

“Emily was amazing! We worked with her for planning, starting from about 15 months before the wedding date, as well as day-of coordinating, and she was an incredible help time after time. Whenever we were stuck trying to figure out vendors or even basic things like the color scheme, Emily was able to help us make progress and stayed really kind and patient throughout, even with what were probably fairly dumb questions at least some of the time. (After all, I don't think either of us ever planned a party for more than a dozen people at a time, so it was invaluable to have help from someone so experienced as Emily!) Emily was great at keeping track of timelines and helped focus us on which decisions needed to be made sooner and what we could leave for later. When we decided to add a tea ceremony as part of the wedding, Emily didn't bat an eye and was so helpful with getting those extra details sorted. There can be so many times while planning a wedding where it’s hard to know how to even approach an important decision, including just communicating w/ guests & family and her expertise, advice, and care kept us from getting stuck more times than we can count! Even though you would expect an event planner to be very rigid in saying how things should go, Emily is not robotic at all and we loved how spontaneous and open to brainstorming different options she always was! The night before and morning of the wedding, we were a bit stressed, but once we were at our venue and Emily was back involved, things went incredibly smoothly and we had a day filled with joy and love. One of Emily's assistants, Alaina, was also there to help w/ day-of details and she was also so nice, calm and capable! Emily even stepped in as an emergency emcee for us when our previous plans fell through 2 weeks before the wedding & our guests loved her humor & warmth during the reception too!”

“I got a call right away once I made an inquiry about booking my destination wedding through Destify. Once i decided to actually use them it was still fairly easy. I wanted a resort that wasn't on their list so they said they would get with that resort and try and allow us and Destify to work with them. That took a while, and as the actual resort was emailing me back, the sales person at Destify said they were not responding to her. Then I quit getting responses from my original destify sales girl. Eventually I expressed my frustration with her and things started moving better. We got the resort that i wanted booked (and i am soooo appreciative of that because the resort was perfect) and i moved on to a new group at destify. Kelly, Brandie, & Matt. THEY WERE WONDERFUL!!!!! I can't express enough how good and easy it was working with them. Any questions I had it was answered so quickly. I asked Matt for a QR code and it was done so fast.. much faster than I expected. Overall my experience with Destify was great besides just the beginning steps.”
