We had our ceremony at the woodland terrace, cocktail hour at the axe and archery ranges (highly recommend, it’s so fun for your guests), and reception at the elf nest. Everything looked beautiful, and I could tell our guests had so much fun. The food and drinks were also incredible! All our guests raved about the carrots and meatloaf at dinner, and everyone loved the stuffed mushrooms at cocktail hour. We also had the rosemary chicken, mashed potatoes, and strawberry feta salad at dinner, which were soooo delicious, and the cream cheese stuffed jalapeños and Tennessee bruschetta at cocktail hour, which was just as tasty! I was initially worried about booking a venue that provides catering before tasting any of the food, as I’ve been to many weddings that have had horrible food, but ancient lore really delivered! The staff was also sooooo friendly and sweet to us! The only issue we ran into was some miscommunication when we did our initial virtual tour. Our tour guide had told us all of the reception sites had spaces for dancing and music, however after we booked and signed the contract, we were told otherwise.
